  • Publication number: 20240138822
Abstract: A biopsy device for percutaneous tissue removal includes an elongated housing having an operational axis, a stylet hub slidably mounted in the housing, where the stylet hub is movable relative to the housing between a proximal, armed position, and a distal, fired position, the stylet hub having a stylet strike, a cannula hub slidably mounted in the housing alongside the stylet hub, and a spring-biased arming member. The cannula hub is movable relative to the housing between a proximal, armed position, and a distal, fired position. The arming member is moveably mounted to the housing proximal of the respective stylet and cannula hubs, and configured for manually-actuated movement from a relaxed, extended position to a loaded, compressed position to define a compressive arming stroke. The biopsy device also includes an arming member biasing spring that restores the arming member from the compressed position to the extended position.

  • Publication number: 20240138297
Abstract: An agricultural windrower system includes one or more processing circuits. The one or more processing circuits are configured to acquire load signals from a load sensor at a certain frequency regarding a load at a frame mount of a merger system for an agricultural windrower as crop material is deposited by an endless conveyor of the merger system in a strip on a ground surface, determine a mass of the crop material conveyed by the merger system based at least partially on the load signals, determine a crop yield based at least partially on the mass of crop material, and provide a yield signal corresponding to the crop yield of the crop material deposited in the strip. The certain frequency is based on a period of time for half a rotation of the endless conveyor.

  • Patent number: 11708106
Abstract: A differentially steered vehicle includes brakes on the powered wheels which are applied via a controller according to different methods to inhibit freewheeling during turns and improve steering responsiveness and stability. The methods include applying braking force to the wheel on the inside of a turn in response to the rate of turn as indicated by the position of the steering control, to the pressure differential across the hydraulic motors driving the wheels and the rotational speed of the wheels.

  • Patent number: 10506820
Abstract: Systems and methods of producing a frozen food product include mixing ingredients with a liquefied gas, e.g. liquid nitrogen. The texture and quality of the food product may be determined by sensing temperature or viscosity, and controlling the rate at which the liquefied gas flows into the mixture, i.e. dosing. This functionality may be achieved using one or more scoops, the position of which may be controlled by actuators. The dosing may be controlled by a program that receives input from one or more sensors, and the program may be responsive to input of the type or amount of ingredients being mixed. In addition, the dosing may be controlled by a human being through a user interface, e.g. by pushing a ‘dose’ button.

  • Patent number: 10306829
Abstract: A ground height gauge assembly is provided. The ground height gauge assembly includes a shaft configured to be rotatably coupled to the header. The ground height gauge assembly includes a first arm coupled to the shaft and configured to simultaneously rotate with the shaft, the first arm defining a first length. The ground height gauge assembly includes a second arm pivotally coupled to the shaft and defining a second length, the second arm configured to be mounted in a first position and a second position. The second length of the second arm is dimensioned greater than the first length of the first arm. In the first position the second arm is configured to rotate independently of the first arm.
