  • Publication number: 20210065112
Abstract: Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, and software of order logistics calculators. Such calculators are implemented to determine feasible logistic solutions for product order deliveries. One method embodiment includes receiving, via a network from a computing device of a customer, order data including data identifying products for purchase and delivery to the customer and then determining at least one possible delivery option. A delivery option may be determined by identifying a possible delivery location based on customer calendar schedule data and determining an estimated delivery time from a shipping location to the possible delivery location. The method of this embodiment may then output, via the network to the computing device of the customer, data identifying at least one possible delivery location and a respective delivery time and further request customer acceptance input with regard to a possible delivery location and respective delivery time.

  • Publication number: 20200323431
Abstract: An imaging system and method is disclosed for intraoperative surgical margin assessment in between various tissues and cell groupings having differing physiologic processes. The system uses an array of LED's to pump a target anatomy with a short excitation pulse and measures the lifetime of fluorescence to generate contrast. A relative fluorescence lifetime map is generated corresponding to the measured lifetime to identify boundaries within varying cell groupings and tissues.

  • Publication number: 20200175776
Abstract: A computerized system for managing a parking lot includes: a beacon in one-way, or location sensor in two-way, communication with a smart device for locating the smart device without it having to determine its own location, a vehicle sensor for sensing the presence of a vehicle, and a computer-implemented server operable to determine from the beacon's identification or receive from the location sensor the location of the smart device. The server authorizes entry or exit of the vehicle when a smart device status indicates acceptance, and the smart device and the vehicle are both at a same appropriate location. The server updates the smart device status after a payment transaction. Entry or exit may be authorized by opening a barrier, displaying an authorization message, communicating a message to the smart device, and/or not issuing a non-authorization alert. The server may receive reservations, and may communicate lot occupancy to third-party systems.

  • Publication number: 20200085407
Abstract: Systems and methods for performing multi-frequency harmonic acoustography for target identification and border detection are described, where a focused confocal transducer having a piezoelectric element and a hydrophone positioned centrally in the piezoelectric element is used. The transducer emits ultrasonic waves toward a target of interest at first and second frequencies. The two waves interfere at a focal plane within the target to generate a third acoustic wave. The target absorbs energy and emits its own unique vibration at the difference frequency (?f) of the two waves as well as its harmonics. The unique vibration is recorded with a hydrophone, and mechanical properties of the target are ascertained through detection and analysis of the third acoustic wave using a mathematical model implemented by a signal processing circuit.

  • Patent number: 10588935
Abstract: The invention provided herein includes isolated polypeptides that specifically block the interaction between neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) and albumin. Blocking the interaction treats diseases and conditions caused by increased amounts of albumin or modified albumin that possesses pathogenic properties wherein it is deemed desirable to decrease albumin levels. Accordingly, also provided are methods of using these isolated polypeptides to treat various diseases and conditions caused by increased amounts of albumin or modified albumin that possesses pathogenic properties. The invention provided herein also includes isolated polypeptides capable of binding to a non-IgG and non-albumin competitive site on an FcRn alpha 3 domain. • Patent number: 10517477
Abstract: Methods and systems for single beam scanning capable of imaging the surface of a spherical body of arbitrary radius of curvature are provided. The spherical imaging methods and systems utilize one or more off-axis parabolic (OAP) mirror to perform a geometrical transformation of the spherical surface to a flat rectilinear imaging coordinate grid such that the single scanning beam maintains a normal incidence across the curved field of view of the spherical body. The imaging methods and systems project the spherical surface to a Cartesian plane and then the remapped surface is rapidly imaged by raster-scanning an illumination beam in the rectangular coordinate such that the OAP mirror produces a rectilinear image of the target. The imaging of the spherical surface is accomplished while maintaining the target, illumination source, and detector in a stationary position. The imaging systems and methods may utilize a single source and a single detector, and may incorporate a THz illumination source.

  • Patent number: 10439965
Abstract: Various embodiments disclose an in-message application facilitating the use of third-party application programming interfaces (APIs). In particular, these in-message applications (referred to as “cards”) may be designed by a developer to access third-party API functionality. A user may then create a message referencing, e.g., a web address associated with the developer's card. The system may receive the user's message and recognize the reference. The system may then distribute an instantiation of the card to various recipients, the instantiation including elements generated using, or providing the user access to, the third party functionality.

  • Publication number: 20190303759
Abstract: In various examples, physical sensor data may be generated by a vehicle in a real-world environment. The physical sensor data may be used to train deep neural networks (DNNs). The DNNs may then be tested in a simulated environment—in some examples using hardware configured for installation in a vehicle to execute an autonomous driving software stack—to control a virtual vehicle in the simulated environment or to otherwise test, verify, or validate the outputs of the DNNs. Prior to use by the DNNs, virtual sensor data generated by virtual sensors within the simulated environment may be encoded to a format consistent with the format of the physical sensor data generated by the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20190117109
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for corneal imaging and sensing are provided. Apparatus capable of utilizing single or multiple frequency emissions at terahertz (THz) wavelengths to create reflectivity maps of the cornea in either a contact or non-contact modes are also provided. Methods of obtaining data from THz imaging and sensing apparatus about the corneal tissue-aqueous humor system, including information about the corneal tissue water content (CTWC) and/or the central corneal thickness (CCT) are likewise provided. Methodologies may use multiple transfer functions (frequencies) in obtaining simultaneous data about CTWC and CCT. Methods using frequency sweeping to allow for determination of CTWC and CCT may also be utilized. Methods may also be used to assess CTWC using multiple bandwidths at the same frequency, or multiple frequencies at the same bandwidth. Methods may use data from CTWC measurements to aid in the diagnosis of various corneal and brain disorders.

  • Publication number: 20190082998
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatuses for performing wound analysis using THz imaging are provided. Due to the large complex component of water's dielectric constant in the THz regime, and the relative frequency invariance of non-aqueous tissue constituents, this modality is highly sensitive to the water content of tissue. It has been found that using THz imaging turns the presence of edema into a contrast mechanism, and allows for the use of the spatial distributions of edema to assess wound status immediately. Apparatus and methods enable earlier diagnosis of wound status which could result in accelerated treatment and shorter overall hospital stays.

  • Publication number: 20180303347
Abstract: Systems and methods for biocompatible tissue characterization using Raman imaging are provided. The systems and methods utilize Raman systems tuned to monitor spectral wavelengths characteristic of target types of tissue to monitor constituents of that tissue in biological systems and samples. The Raman systems may be tuned to monitor the Raman signature for the formation of the chemical bonds that join phosphorous and oxygen (PO) atoms, such that the formation of hydroxyapatite may be monitored and used to determine the presence of bone formation in a sample, such as, for example, biological tissue.
