  • Publication number: 20210295349
Abstract: Examples provide a system and method for handling non-damage related errors in received freight. A front-end error handling application applies a set of user-configurable rules to obtain information associated with a detected error in a received item. The error handling application creates a ticket, including a predetermined number of images of the received item, for uploading to a vendor correction of errors (VCOE) backend for resolving the error tickets. The VCOE component determines when to deny or close error tickets and sends notifications requesting appropriate remedies to resolve error tickets to one or more providers associated with the non-compliant received item. The provider can include a vendor, carrier, or distribution center. Aggregated data from a plurality of error tickets is provided via a dashboard for user review.

  • Publication number: 20210142265
Abstract: Systems and method for allocating orderfilling trips in a facility are discussed. Available trips are categorized for difficulty based on specifically defined criteria and mapped to tenure groups. The amount of worker experience for each available facility worker is used to assign each available facility worker to a tenure group. Available mapped trips are allocated to facility workers belonging to the same tenure group. Trip performance verification may be accomplished in real-time using client devices assigned to a facility worker.

  • Publication number: 20190077600
Abstract: A system for the autonomous assignment and transport of a trailer to a receiving door in a distribution center is disclosed. A server receives details about the freight of a trailer from a third party. The characteristics of the freight are categorized and weighted based on the mapping of freight characteristics against the characteristics of each of the receiving doors of a distribution center. A suitability score for the door is determined based on a comparison of the characteristics of each. The system selects a door based on the suitability score and directs an autonomous yard vehicle to locate, retrieve, and deliver the trailer to the selected door for processing.
