Abstract: A foldaway truck bed extender provides a truck bed extension that is unobtrusive regardless of whether the extender is deployed or folded away so that the extender can be permanently affixed to a vehicle without changing the vehicles cargo hauling capacity or functionality. The extender comprises a planar body having rotatable sidewall extensions all configured to fit within a thin low profile area. The extender rotates folds to and deploys from a tailgate of a truck or other vehicle.
