Abstract: The present invention relates to an exercise device having telescoping and locking elements. In an embodiment, the exercising device comprises at least a first center bar, and two second bars telescopically connected to either end of the first center bar. In another embodiment, two third bars are also included that are telescopically connected to the distal ends of the respective second bar. The first center bar may incorporate at least one foam roller circumferentially encircling a middle section of the first bar. The second and third bars are slidably attached to either side of the respective first bar or second bar and are slidably positioned inside the respective second or third bars. The release and locking of the telescoping motion may be actuated by a release switch or rotation of one or more handles of the exercising tool.
