Abstract: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition containing meloxicam, a preparation method thereof, and an application thereof. The pharmaceutical composition includes meloxicam, a composite solvent, and an acidic pH regulator. The composite solvent includes a polymer compound, an alkaline compound, and an aqueous solution. The polymer compound is selected from cyclodextrin or synthetic cyclodextrin and derivatives thereof. The meloxicam composition of the present invention does not contain any organic solvent, which can effectively avoid generation of adverse reactions of pharmaceutical formulations, make drug use safer, and at the same time also reduce the environmental pollution during the preparation process of the drug.
