Abstract: A container carrier and manufacturing method for a container carrier are provided. The container carrier includes an integrally molded body with a plurality of annular structures connected by a bridges. The annular structures each include a side wall formed of side wall portions separated by side wall voids and a top surface. Flanges are positioned at the bottom of each side wall void to collectively engage the containers. The flanges are configured to project inwardly and orient upwardly at an angle so as to flex when accepting or releasing a container. The top surfaces of the annular structures include notched voids continuous with respective side wall voids such that the flanges positioned at the bottoms of the side wall voids are accommodated by the notched voids in the top surface of a second, same-shaped container carrier when stacked.

The bottom portion of the lower side wall segment has an inner diameter that is larger than the outer diameter of the upper side wall and smaller than the outer diameter of the ledge such that the bottom of a first container carrier will rest upon the ledge of a second, same-shaped container carrier when stacked.

The clip body includes outer securing structures comprised of tabs and ledges to releasably attach to the lip of a circular rim of the lower container. Wings are configured to flex under an influence of a digit of a user to bias the ledges away from the central region of the clip body, thereby releasing the lower container.

Abstract: A sanitary snap-on multiple-can carrier and transport device is disclosed which facilitates bundling, storage and transport of cans in multi-pack units of two, four, six, eight and 12 cans. The configuration of the device permits multiples of the device to be loaded into magazines, which in turn may be loaded into and dispensed from high speed machine applicators to apply the devices to cans. The design also permits stacking of rows of cans bound together for purposes of storage and even permits the formation of entire palletloads of cans without the extra support of conventional shipping containment material such as strapping, cardboard and shrinkwrap.

Abstract: A beaded lip protection and tamper-resistant device for canisters with caps is disclosed, as well as multiples of the same device joined together to form multiple-canister carriers that may be provided with one or more handles.
