Abstract: A modular air-handling plenum for capable of supporting surgical apparatus or other objects is disclosed. The plenum is usually rectangular, may be formed of sheet metal, and features a truss spanning the width of the plenum to carry the weight of the apparatus. The plenum itself is attached to the ceiling of a room. An air handling component may be included to provide filtered and/or conditioned air in the vicinity of the suspended apparatus, or the plenum may be used strictly as an apparatus support, with no air-conditioning function. An ordinary suspended ceiling may also be mounted in the plenum for continuity with the remainder of the room.

The assembly may include a main housing having at least first and second surfaces, wherein the first surface differs from the second surface, one or more first air filters proximate to the first surface, wherein the one or more first air filters is configured to discharge a first portion of filtered air through the first surface in a direct direction, and one or more second air filters proximate to the second surface. The one or more second air filters is configured to discharge a second portion of filtered air through the second surface in a second direction that differs from the first direction.

Abstract: An illuminating airflow panel assembly is configured to provide illumination and allow air to flow therethrough. The illuminating airflow panel assembly may include a mounting bracket configured to secure the illuminating airflow panel assembly to a structure, and a main body connected to the mounting bracket. The main body may include opposed first and second planar surfaces and an outer peripheral edge. The main body may also include a plurality of airflow passages that extend from the first planar surface to the second planar surface. The airflow passages are configured to allow air to pass therethrough toward a target site. An illuminating member may be positioned around the outer peripheral edge of the main body. The illuminating member is configured to direct light toward the target site.

Abstract: An adjustable equipment mount assembly is configured to be adjustably secured within an overhead support module that is configured to be secured to a structure, such as a ceiling of an enclosed room. The overhead support module is configured to deliver air to the structure. The assembly may include an equipment mounting plate configured to connect to equipment, one or more first adjustable support members configured to allow the equipment mounting plate to be adjusted between different positions with respect to the overhead support module in a first direction, and one or more second adjustable support members configured to allow the equipment mounting plate to be adjusted between different positions with respect to the overhead support module in a second direction that differs from the first direction.

Abstract: A grid system for supporting a suspended ceiling and ceiling mounted equipment includes a plurality of grid elements which are interconnected in a orthogonal grid pattern. The grid elements have a wire raceway located at their upper end which is accessible from above the grid element. Flanges located at lower portions of the grid elements engage the equipment supported by the grid system.

A third blade, which extends into the sealant in both the first and second channels, is located inwardly of the edges of the channel walls that form the perimeter of the passageway.
