The outer rail includes a support bar and a holding portion. The inner rail includes a stop portion. The latch member includes a first lock tongue and a second lock tongue. When the support bar supports the first lock tongue of the latch member to keep the latch member at a locking position, the second lock tongue of the latch member abuts against the stop portion, to enable the intermediate rail to slide in synchronization with the inner rail. When the latch member slides along the support bar to engage with the holding portion of the outer rail, the latch member is biased to pivot to an unlocking position, the second lock tongue of the latch member disengages from the stop portion.

The retaining member includes a positioning portion, and defines a through slot. The locking member includes an engaging portion and an operating portion extending through the through slot. The positioning portion engages in a through hole of the bracket from a first side of the bracket, the engaging portion engages with a second side of the bracket. When releasing the slide rail from the bracket, the operating portion is operated to deform the locking member to make the engaging portion be disengaged from the second side of the bracket, and the positioning portion is readily released from the through hole of the bracket, to release the retaining member from the bracket.

    Abstract: A sliding mechanism includes an outer rail, an inner rail, a middle rail and a latching assembly. The middle rail has a resisting portion and is slidably mounted to the outer rail and the inner rail is slidably mounted to the middle rail. The latching assembly includes a first protrusion, a second protrusion, a third protrusion, a first roller and a second roller, a latching slot and a stopping surface. When the inner rail slides relative to the middle rail, the first protrusion resists the first roller so the middle rail sliding with the inner rail; and then the first roller slides along the third protrusion to release the first roller from the first protrusion. The second roller then slides in the latching slot until the resisting portion resists the stopping surface; and then the first roller slides along the first protrusion so the inner rail further extends relative to the middle rail.

The connecting member is slidably supported on the support member. The connecting member includes a first positioning button and a second positioning button to restrict the support member therebetween, thereby preventing the support member from disengaging from the connecting member.
