    Abstract: A card edge connector includes an elongated insulative housing extending along a left-to-right direction, a plurality of conductive terminals retained in the insulative housing and an ejector retained at one end of the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a central slot recessed from an upper surface thereof for receiving a memory module. The ejector defines a base portion and a pair of gripping portions extending upwardly from the base portion, two gripping portions have an accommodating slot located therebetween for receiving the memory module and a lump portion located in the accommodating slot. The lump portion defines an elastic arm projecting into the accommodating slot for locking the memory module, When the memory module is pulled out in a hard-interference manner, the memory module will press upwardly against the elastic arm so that the elastic arm is elastically deformed to release the memory module.

    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing having a longitudinal slot and at least one row of contacts retained in the housing. Each of the contacts defines a retention portion, a resilient contacting arm extending from the retention portion with a contacting portion protruding into the longitudinal slot, and a soldering tail extending out of the housing. The contacts include at least two differential pairs adjacent to each other and at least one grounding contact sandwiched therebetween in the longitudinal direction. The contacting portions of each differential pairs are closer to the mating face than the contacting portion of the grounding contact in the mating direction, which can improve resonance of the electrical connector during transferring high-speed signals.

A breaking cut is formed in the connecting place between the bottom edge and the strip. The breaking cut is distributed into a number of slots connecting with each other. The configuration of the breaking slot can make several slots each with a short tearing journey when the terminals are separated from the strip, that can improve the efficacy of the product yield.
