Abstract: Disclosed are beta-type active zinc sulfide and a preparation method therefor. The method includes: adding an oil phase containing styrene monomers into a water phase containing a pore-forming agent, a surfactant, a Zn salt, a complexing agent, a sulfur source and a water-soluble initiator, conducting mixing and emulsification, introducing metal elements, dissolving polystyrene of microspheres prepared through reaction in tetrahydrofuran, and then conducting calcination, pickling and activation to obtain the beta-type active zinc sulfide. The zinc sulfide microspheres prepared by the present invention are beta-type, and have excellent photoelectric properties and broad application prospects.

The method includes: creating a thin volume; acquiring a current workload of a cluster; determining a volume filling thread quantity corresponding to the thin volume and a Quality of Service (QOS) policy based on the workload and a preset load threshold; filling the thin volume using a volume filling thread determined according to the volume filling thread quantity and the QOS policy, so as to complete the creation of a thick-provisioned volume.

Abstract: A data query method includes receiving query data from a query device and verifying whether the query data is authorized, obtaining shared data corresponding to the query data in response that the query data is authorized, performing a logical judgment on the query data and the shared data corresponding to the query data and obtaining a query result corresponding to the query data, encrypting the query result corresponding to the query data, and sending the encrypted query result to the query device. The query device decrypts the query result according to a decryption rule. The query result is a preset logical judgment result. A shared device and a query device of a blockchain system are also provided.

Abstract: A method for activating applications of an electronic device by setting one or more time intervals and one or more applications of the electronic device to correspond to the one or more time intervals. When the electronic device is unlocked and the current time is located within one of the one or more time intervals, an application corresponding to the one of the time intervals where the current time is located can be automatically activated.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods for generating mate-pair libraries using a recombinase/recombination site system. The method allows for increased insert size, improved efficiency and simplicity of the steps involved, and improved data generation. Mate-pair libraries are helpful in providing positional information for the assembly of sequence data from short read sequencing platforms. The disclosure also embodies the mate-pair libraries as generated from these methods.

Abstract: A rope ladder with support attachments is presented. The invention includes a hook, allowing the invention to be hung from a building, a rope ladder body, comprising a pair of belt rails and multiple rungs disposed between the belt rails attached to the hook, and support attachments symmetrically fixed onto the inside surface of the belt rails at joints between rails and rungs. Each support attachment is of a folding design with torsion spring so that the support attachment automatically opens outward until the inner angle between the support attachment and rung is slightly larger than 90 degrees. Support attachments provide a gap between belt rails and the wall of a building. The present invention ensures a suitable gap between rungs disposed along the length of the rope ladder and building wall so as to allow the user to easily, reliably and properly step onto each rung of the rope ladder.
