  • Publication number: 20240150912
Abstract: A photoelectrode is provided. The photoelectrode includes a transparent substrate. The photoelectrode further includes a layer of crystalline hematite nanoparticles at least partially covering a surface of the transparent substrate. The photoelectrode further includes a phosphate ions (Pi) interfacial layer coated on a surface of the layer of crystalline hematite nanoparticles. The photoelectrode further includes a plurality of CoFe-Prussian blue analogues (CoFe-PBA) particles uniformly disposed on a surface of the phosphate (Pi) interfacial layer. Methods of making the photoelectrode and photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20220037014
Abstract: A hierarchical power flow control system includes power flow control devices, a communication coordinator and a gateway. The gateway provides diagnostics, prognostics, and health monitoring, and communicates with an external energy management system (EMS). Operation and actions are based on self-health monitoring, self-prognostics, and analysis and prediction processing in the gateway, in communication with the external energy management system.

  • Patent number: 11230293
Abstract: A radar sensor system and a method for detecting an occupancy in an interior of a vehicle and with vital sign monitoring. The radar sensor system includes a radar transmitting unit, a radar receiving unit and a signal processing and control unit. The method includes: transmitting a radar wave towards a scene within the vehicle interior, receiving at least one radar wave that has been generated by reflection of the transmitted radar wave, decomposing the received radar wave into range, Doppler and angular information, quantifying and tracking a movement in each region of interest by angular gating and range gating, detecting and monitoring vital signs of occupants in each region of interest, and determining whether quantified and tracked movements in the scene are related to an occupant or to external or internal disturbances, based on a fulfillment of at least one predefined condition concerning the and/or the detected vital signs.
