    Abstract: An apparatus that is configured to receive a first signal from a remote device, to convert the first signal into a second signal, and to transmit the second signal to an optical disc player. The apparatus includes a receiver, a micro processing unit, and a transmitter. The receiver is configured to receive the first signal that is output from the remote device. The micro processing unit is coupled to the receiver, and is configured to convert the first signal into the second signal that is compatible with the optical disc player. The transmitter is coupled to the micro processing unit, and is configured to transmit the second signal to the optical disc player.
