    Abstract: A vibration absorber for damping vibrations of motor vehicle components. The vibration absorber comprises an absorber mass including a passage, and an elastomeric spring member inserted in the passage of the absorber mass. The elastomeric spring member comprises an outer sleeve connecting the elastomeric spring member to the absorber mass, and an inner sleeve for attachment to the motor vehicle component to undergo vibration absorption. An elastomer body interconnects the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve. The elastomeric spring member also includes a securing element. The vibration absorber includes stops that are spaced apart in an axial direction and that cooperate with the securing element to secure the absorber mass in the axial direction.
