The information processing method includes: creating a source synchronization block in a first document in response to a first operation event; and in response to a second operation event, generating, in a second document, a reference synchronization block that has a synchronization relationship with the source synchronization block, where the synchronization relationship includes: content in the source synchronization block being kept the same as content in the reference synchronization block, and an update to the content in the source synchronization block being synchronized with the content in the reference synchronization block; and an update to the content in the reference synchronization block being synchronized with the content in the source synchronization block.
