Abstract: An expandable vehicle rack device expands to allow secure attachment to variously sized vehicles. The device includes each of a plurality of brackets having a base flange extending from a connection flange. Each bracket is structured to provide a pair of angled slots in the connection flange. Each of a plurality of fasteners is insertable through an associated one of the angled slots for securing the brackets to a vehicle. Each of a plurality of uprights is coupled to an associated one of the brackets in a static position relative to the associated bracket. An upper frame has a plurality of corner sections. Each of the corner sections is couplable to an associated one of the uprights. Each side of the upper frame and each end of the upper frame is expandable wherein each corner section is selectively positionable to align with the upper ends of the associated upright.

Abstract: A nested polygonal member locking device secures nested square tubing together into a static position relative to each other. The device includes an outer perimeter shape of an inner member being polygonal defining a plurality of corners and a groove extending into one of the corners. A peripheral shape of an outer member being polygonal defining a plurality of outside corners and a slot extending through the outer member into one of the outer corners. The slot is alignable with the groove. A collar defines a circular channel receiving the outer member. A flange extends inwardly from an interior face of the collar into channel. The flange is positionable in the slot and the groove simultaneously by rotation of the collar whereby the flange inhibits disengagement of the inner member from the outer member.

Abstract: A truck rack apparatus includes a first support and a second support. Each of the first and second supports includes a first leg, a second leg and an elongated arm extending between and is attached to the first and second legs. The first and second legs each extend away from an associated one of the arms in generally the same direction. Each of the first and second legs has an upper end and bottom end. The arms are positioned adjacent to respective ones of the upper ends. Each of a plurality of securing assemblies is adapted for being releasably securing one of the bottom ends of the legs to one of a pair of inwardly extending lips attached to the side walls of a pick-up bed. The securing assemblies attach the legs to the lips so that the legs extend upwardly from the bed and the arms traverse the bed.
