  • Publication number: 20180209766
Abstract: A system for attaching a firearm accessory to a sight base including a first bore in the sight base, a second bore in the accessory body and a bushing inserted into the second bore. A bushing is inserted into the second bore and is held in place with one or more protrusions located on the sight base near the first bore and/or a screw inserted into a bore in the bushing. The bushing allows the accessory body to rotate in a plane that is perpendicular to the first and second bores. A screw inserted into a third bore that communicates with the second bore allows a screw to engage the exterior surface of the bushing featuring grooves that define positions to which the accessory body can be rotated. The accessory body's rotation can also be stopped using a groove on the accessory body that is engaged by another protrusion featured by the sight base.

  • Patent number: 8832984
Abstract: A recoil reduction stock assembly for a shoulder-fired firearm is described that includes a rear stock section housing a recoil reduction mechanism attachable to firearms with different receiver rear faces by using a front stock section having a rear face attachable to the rear stock section front face and a front face attachable to the rear face of the receiver. The assembly may include one rear stock section housing the recoil reduction mechanism and a plurality of front stock sections, each front stock section having the same rear face profile, but different front face profiles conforming to different receiver rear faces. The recoil reduction mechanism includes a compressible spring and a plunger, whereby recoil of said firearm compresses the spring against the plunger to absorb recoil. The assembly may also include a cheek rest slidably attached over a part of the rear stock section and attached to the recoil mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7147574
Abstract: A golf club head having a front surface with a substantially planar face, a lower edge and a ball impact area, is constructed with a composite core of metal and plastic, with the core being enclosed in an injection molded plastic sheath. The core may be formed of layers of metal and plastic, or an injection molded plastic having metal particles dispersed therein. The metal to plastic weight ratio is preferably from about 90:10 to about 10:90. For putter heads, the head also includes a resilient section in the front surface having a face flush with the front surface, a lower edge aligned with the front surface lower edge, and an upper edge below the ball initial impact area. An exposed section of the non-resilient core may serve as the initial striking surface, while a front section of the resilient sheath may serve as the second ball striking surface.

  • Patent number: 4912830
Abstract: A golf putting head having a lightweight plastic housing with a front wall forming a front surface for making contact with a golf ball, a pair of rearwardly spaced receptacles joined by a platform along the bottom of the club, and a weight having flanks within the receptacles joined by a section, the weight being fully contained within the plastic housing. The weight of the head is varied by the density of the material selected for the weight without changing the size and shape of the club. A sighting aid is provided between the receptacles. A method is also disclosed for manufacturing the head.
