  • Publication number: 20120269526
Abstract: The subject embodiments disclose an electrostatic transfer control method that avoids undesired retransfer effects. A printing device develops and transfers several control patches. The patches are transferred at different electrostatic set points and a control strategy is utilized involving one or more density sensors to measure the transferred toner patches whereby the obtained density information can be used to compute the optimal value of electrostatic transfer bias. Print operators can adjust the bias value based on preferences for predetermined standards.

  • Publication number: 20120193232
Abstract: The present invention is a preparation method of an anti-bacterial coating on a plastic surface. A preparation method of an anti-bacterial coating on a plastic surface with a better anti-bacterial effect is provided and comprises putting a plastic substrate into a PVD vacuum device; coating an anti-bacterial metallic layer on the plastic surface; and spray coating an anti-bacterial middle coating on the sample coated with anti-bacterial metallic coating. Utilizing PVD to coat antibacterial layer offsets timeliness of bacterial activity of the organic anti-bacterial coating, which allows the products with double bacterial layers have excellent anti-bacterial and bacteria-inhibited effects during their life spans. The anti-bacterial effect can not only be lasted for a long time, but also achieve high anti-bacterial efficiency (antibacterial rate is more than 99%).

  • Publication number: 20120193241
Abstract: A method for applying a semi-dry electroplating method on a surface of plastic substrate is related to an electroplating method of plastic. which realizes the surface metallization of plastic materials, simplifies the electroplating procedure, dramatically reduces the amount of waste water, reduces the pollution to environment and expands electroplatable range of plastic substrates, is provided. Water-free cleaning and dust removal are conducted to a plastic substrate; a first-time activated treatment is conducted to the surface of the plastic substrate; a PVD plating metallic base layer, an alloy transition layer and a metallic electrical conductive layer are applied in turn on it, ultrasonic water washing and a second-time activated treatment are conducted on the treated plastic substrate; the treated plastic substrate is directly electroplated with acid copper or is moved to a nickel plating bath, and then complete the final surface treatment according to the actual process requirements.

  • Publication number: 20120181177
Abstract: A method of a preparing double-layer antimicrobial coating comprises: placing a plastic substrate into a PVD vacuum equipment for a vacuum process; rinsing and activating the substrate when the vacuum level reaches 10?2; coating a metal film onto the activated substrate by the vacuum process; spraying an antimicrobial intermediate coating onto the metal film; and then coating an antimicrobial metal film by PVD to obtain a double-layer antimicrobial layer. The coating has two antimicrobial layers, and includes bores because the density of the coated film layer produced by PVD is low, so that the antimicrobial agent of the antimicrobial intermediate coating can pass through the bores and move to the surface of the coating and the surface of the antimicrobial coating, so as to kill the bacteria or suppress their grown. The method is very suitable for the sanitary, electronics, electrical appliances and the automobile industry.

  • Publication number: 20120059100
Abstract: An imitation metal engineering plastic composite material and a preparation method of the same relate to a polymer composite material. Plastic and metal are combined while maintaining the advantages of the imitation metal engineering plastic composite material and the preparation method thereof. The composition of the composite material comprises an engineering thermoplastic, a high-density filler, a mineral powder, a glass fiber, a toughener, a coupling agent, a lubricant and an antioxidant. The composite material features a high density, a high mechanical performance, an excellent thermal deformation temperature, and good plastic injection molding manufacturability. The method of combining the coupling agent and the optimal conditions of the particles are adopted to make the manufacturing simpler and easier, and a general twin-screw granulator can be used for producing granules, and a general plastic injection molding machine can be used in the plastic injection molding process.

  • Patent number: 5416860
Abstract: A system for measuring the strength of fiber optical current in an AC magnetic field by adopting Faraday effect and temperature compensation. In general, the current measurement systems that adopt Faraday effect have the structure including a Faraday element, a polarizer and an analyzer. When a light beam is directed through the Faraday element, the plane of polarization rotates according to the strength of induced magnetic field and Verdet constant in the Faraday element. The rotation affects the optical intensity sensed by the analyzer. The variation on light intensity after passing through the analyzer is converted into an electric current by a optical-electric transducer. But the accuracy of this system this system always affected by the ambient environment, wherein the major factor is the thermal effect of Verdet constant.
