    Abstract: A molecular sieve complex contains an oxide of aluminum, an oxide of an alkaline earth metal and a rare earth-modified molecular sieve. The rare earth-modified molecular sieve is a molecular sieve doped by a rare earth element. The percentage of the pore volume occupied by pores of 3 nm or less to the total pore volume in the molecular sieve complex is greater than or equal to 63.5%. The content of the rare earth element and the contents of the oxide of aluminum, the oxide of the alkaline earth metal and the molecular sieve satisfy a certain relationship. The composite material contains a molecular sieve complex and an auxiliary agent loaded on the molecular sieve complex, and the composite material may be applied to flue gas adsorption and desulfurization.

    Abstract: A catalyst can be used for removing carbonyl sulfide in natural gas. The catalyst has a carrier, and an alkali metal oxide and nickel oxide which are loaded on the carrier. Based on the total weight of the catalyst, the content of the carrier is 90-97 wt %, the content of the alkali metal oxide is 2-6 wt %, and the content of the nickel oxide is 1-4 wt %. At least part of the carrier is AlO(OH), ?-Al2O3 and ?-Al2O3 phases. The catalyst can achieve a COS conversion rate of greater than or equal to 99% and a service life of 8 years or above, and can effectively reduce the content of carbonyl sulfur in natural gas.

    Abstract: Provided is an alumina-based sulfur recovery catalyst as well as its preparation method, characterized in that the catalyst has a specific surface area of at least about 350 m2/g, a pore volume of at least about 0.40 ml/g, and the pore volume of pores having a pore diameter of at least 75 nm comprises at least about 30% of the pore volume. The alumina-based catalyst according to present invention is made from flashed calcined alumina, pseudoboehmite and optionally, a binder. The present invention further relates to an use of the alumina-based sulfur recovery catalyst and a method for recovering sulfur by using this catalyst.
