Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, services, platforms, and methods are discussed herein that provide user search services to a communication platform. An example user search service receives a query indicted by a user to find users of a communication platform associated with one or more search terms. The example user search service also presents to the user a search result view comprising resultant users on the communication platform, where the search result view includes one or more graphical annotations in association with ones of the resultant users that indicate a quantity of common users on the communication platform between the user and the ones of the resultant users.

Abstract: System and methods are directed to operations associated with an approximate nearest neighbor search engine. More specifically, a vector semantically representing content to be added to a search index may be received. The search index may include a neighborhood graph having a plurality of nodes, where each node of the plurality of nodes is associated with content in a content repository. A plurality of nodes within the search index determined to be most semantically similar to the received vector semantically representing content to be added to the search index may be identified. The node corresponding to the received vector semantically representing content to be added to the search index to the search index may be added to the search index and a listing of nearest neighbors associated with each of the of the plurality of nodes may be updated to include an identifier associated with the added node.

Abstract: An offline transaction may be attributed to an online activity by receiving a request from a consumer device for a resource that comprises a vendor page. An online-referral source (by which the consumer device identified the vendor page) is determined, and a unique identifier, the online-referral source, and the vendor page are stored in a persistent record. A device-identifier association is created to associate the unique identifier with the consumer device. Subsequently, offline-transaction data is obtained, associating an online-communication address with an offline transaction involving the vendor and an individual or. When a second resource request is received from the consumer device, it is determined to be associated with the unique identifier, and further, that it is associated with the online-communication address and the offline transaction. The vendor is notified that the offline transaction is associated with the online-referral source.
