  • Publication number: 20100013837
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for controlling character animation, in which the character animation includes at least two bones and skins corresponding to the bones, the method includes: (a) dividing the character animation into at least two parts, and setting an identification number for each part; (b) establishing a mapping table comprising a corresponding relationship between the identification number and skin data of each part; (c) picking skin data of an operation focus location in the character animation; (d) querying the mapping table according to the skin data, obtaining a corresponding identification number, and controlling the part in the character animation corresponding to the identification number. Embodiments of the present invention also provide a system for controlling character animation. Different parts of the character animation may be picked respectively by dividing the character animation into multiple parts.

  • Patent number: 6784731
Abstract: An amplifier distortion reduction system obtains a distortion signal from the amplifier output and feeds the distortion signal back to the input side of the amplifier to cancel with the distortion produced at the amplifier output. For example, a signal to be amplified by an amplifier is received on a main signal path. The amplifier produces an amplified output with a non-distortion spectrum and a distortion spectrum. A sample of the amplified output is produced from the main signal path and placed on a feedback path. On the feedback path, the distortion spectrum is obtained from the sample amplified output. The distortion spectrum is phase and/or amplitude adjusted to produce the distortion signal. The distortion signal is placed onto the main signal path at the input side of the amplifier with the signal to be amplified to destructively combine with the distortion produced from the amplifier in amplifying the signal to be amplified.

  • Patent number: 6285863
Abstract: A system and method for providing automatic gain control (AGC) with high dynamic range. An AGC system comprises an open loop control system and a closed loop control system. The open control loop system senses the power level of an input signal and preprocesses the input signal based on its sensed power level. For instance, a strong input signal is attenuated by a fixed level via an analog attenuator, a weak input signal is amplified by a fixed factor via a low noise amplifier, and an intermediate level input signal is directly passed to the closed loop control system of the AGC without any attenuation or amplification. By preprocessing the input signal, the closed loop control system can operate in a range that is optimal for its performance. For instance, a gain variable amplifier of the closed loop control circuit can be prevented from operating in a high attenuation status where its noise figure is very high. A wide band receiver using the AGC system may have a dynamic range over 100 dB.

  • Patent number: 6154641
Abstract: A wideband multiple channel frequency converter includes a mixer, a frequency generator for generating a local oscillator signal, a power divider for receiving the local oscillator signal and providing a portion of the signal to the mixer and a portion of the signal to a feed forward path which phase and amplitude adjusts the signal and a power combiner for receiving and combining a signal from the mixer and the phase and amplitude adjusted signal from the feed forward path. In addition, an attenuator may be implemented to reduce a power level of a signal to be converted and a band-pass filter may receive the signal from the power combiner. The converter compensates for local oscillator signal leakage and can reduce inter-modulation components.
