  • Publication number: 20130123053
Abstract: An arrangement for supplying oil to a chain drive which drives a transmission oil pump that is axially offset relative to a torque converter and embedded in an intermediate plate in a vehicle having a torque converter. The driven sprocket of the chain drive is supported by a converter neck mounted in a centering plate. A seal is provided between the converter neck and the sprocket and is arranged adjacent the sliding fit between the converter neck and the sprocket. To compensate for the suppression of lubrication of the seal, the neck bearing and the chain drive, a valve is integrated in the intermediate plate, and a duct is provided in the plane, in which the centering plate is screwed to the intermediate plate, such that excess oil flowing from the valve is selectively directed to the seal, the neck bearing and the chain drive.

  • Publication number: 20130118857
Abstract: A centrifugal unit for a clutch of a motor vehicle includes a first structural component part, a second structural component part which is coupled to the first structural component part so as to be fixed with respect to rotation relative to it. The first structural component part and the second structural component part are constructed in such a way that, when a limiting rotational speed is exceeded, a distance between the first structural component part and second structural component part increases along an axial direction, and a return spring element which causes a force between the first structural component part and second structural component part in such a way that the distance between the first structural component part and second structural component part adopts a neutral value when the centrifugal unit is at a standstill. The second structural component part is constructed so as to furnish a mechanical connection to a clutch disk of the clutch for transmitting a torque.

  • Publication number: 20130123060
Abstract: The 8-speed transmission which comprises an input shaft (AN), an output shaft (AB), four planetary gearsets (RS1, RS2, RS3, RS4), eight rotary shafts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), and five shifting elements (A, B, C, D, E). The input shaft is directly connected to the fourth planetary gear set while the output shaft is directly connected to the third planetary gear. A third shaft directly connects one element of the first planetary gear set with one element of the fourth planetary gear set. A fifth shaft directly connects one element of the second planetary gear set with one element of the third planetary gear set. A sixth shaft directly connects one element of the first planetary gear set with one element of the third planetary gear set. A seventh shaft directly connects one element of the fourth planetary gear set with one element of the fifth shifting element.

  • Publication number: 20130109530
Abstract: A device for a drive train of a hybrid vehicle having a planetary gear set which comprises a carrier element, a sun gear element, and a ring gear element. A first element connects to a first input shaft of a first subtransmission of a transmission, and a second element connects to an electric machine of a hybrid drive. A first shift element which couples, in a first shift position, a third of the elements to a second input shaft of a second subtransmission of the transmission, to which an internal combustion engine can be coupled, and, in a second shift position, can be coupled to another element of the planetary gear set, and having a second shift element which couples the input shafts of both subtransmissions when engaged and separates the input shafts of both subtransmissions when disengaged.

  • Publication number: 20130109524
Abstract: A device for a drive train of a hybrid vehicle having a planetary gear set (4) including a ring gear (9), a sun gear (10) and a carrier (8). A first element of these elements of the planetary gear set serves as the connection to a transmission input shaft (11) of a transmission (3) and a second element of these elements of the planetary gear set serves as the connection to an electric machine (2) of a hybrid drive. A clutch (5) and associated shift element (6) by which, in a first shift position (A), a third element of the planetary gear set can be coupled to an internal combustion engine (1) of the hybrid drive while in a second shift position (B), can be coupled to one of the other elements of the planetary gear set (4).

  • Publication number: 20130102429
Abstract: A method for operating a hybrid vehicle drive-train having an engine, electric machine, transmission and a planetary gearset comprising ring, sun and carrier elements. A first planetary element is coupled to a transmission input shaft, a second planetary element is coupled to the electric machine, and a first clutch couples a third planetary element to the engine while a second clutch couples two of the three elements. When the second clutch is disengaged, the drive-train operates in a first mode while, when the second clutch is engaged, the drive-train operates in a second mode. When starting up or crawling, to change from first to second mode while maintaining traction force at the output, the second clutch engages to reduce the transmission capacity of the first clutch until slip occurs, then the engine speed is regulated, while synchronizing the second clutch, after which the second clutch engages without any load.

  • Publication number: 20130099147
Abstract: A valve device which comprises a valve housing having a plurality of shifting tongues and a valve slide that can move longitudinally in the valve housing. The valve slide is made with diameter sections which co-operate with the shifting tongues depending on an axial position of the valve slide. At least one of the diameter sections is made with at least one, at least approximately groove-like recess that extends in the circumferential direction of the valve slide. The groove-like recesses are functionally connected to an axial bore extending in the valve slide essentially in the axial direction, by way of at least one radial bore extending at least approximately in the radial direction in the valve slide.

  • Publication number: 20130092273
Abstract: A device for storing fluid, of a transmission hydraulic system, having at least one storage chamber that is defined by a housing and a delimiting device, which can be connected with the hydraulic system. The volume of the chamber depends on operation of the delimiting device and/or the housing. The delimiting device and/or housing can be set such that the storage chamber has a defined volume, in opposition to a restoring effort of the housing and/or delimiting device, starting from an operating condition which differs from the operating condition equivalent to the minimum volume of the storage chamber toward their operating condition equivalent to the minimum storage chamber volume. When the holding device is actuated, the operating conditions of the delimiting device and/or the housing assembly vary between operating conditions in which the storage chamber volume is either a maximum or corresponds to the defined storage chamber volume.

  • Publication number: 20130094948
Abstract: An intake charged pump for pumping liquid and which has an intake duct that extends to the suction area of the pump. The pump has a duct through which a jet stream flows to the suction area. A nozzle arrangement in the intake duct accelerates the liquid which is returned via the jet stream and supports the suction of a suction stream of the liquid from a storage container. A nozzle of the nozzle arrangement leads into the mixing chamber at an acute angle in a such way that the jet stream, leaving the nozzle, creates a common mixing stream with the suction stream from the storage container, and through which partial streams having essentially the same pressure and energy content, can be delivered to the front and back suction pockets of the double chamber pump.
