    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for envelope shaping of a multi-carrier signal in envelope tracking transmission are disclosed. According to an embodiment, a baseband version of an envelope portion belonging to each of multiple carriers in the multi-carrier signal is positioned such that a frequency spacing between adjacent positioned envelope portions is smaller than that between corresponding adjacent carriers. The positioned envelope portions are combined into a composite envelope. The composite envelope is shaped. The shaped composite envelope is split into baseband versions of shaped envelope portions belonging to the multiple carriers. The baseband version of each shaped envelope portion is repositioned such that a frequency spacing between adjacent repositioned envelope portions is equal to that between corresponding adjacent carriers.

According to an embodiment, a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) detection apparatus, comprising: a signal processing circuit with 1-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) functionality configured to receive a forward coupled signal in a transmission line of an antenna system, receive a reverse coupled signal in the transmission line of the antenna system, detect the forward coupled signal and the reverse coupled signal, convert the forward detected signal and the reverse detected signal to an analog voltage signal mapped to a return loss value, convert by the 1-bit ADC the analog voltage signal into a digital pulse train and output the digital pulse train to a digital interface of a processing device or unit.

    Abstract: A radio frequency power amplifier and a device are disclosed. A first microstrip line and a second microstrip line are coupled, one end of the second microstrip line is an open stub and another end of the second microstrip line is grounded; and the first microstrip line having a first width is connected to a first transmission line having a second width which is wider than the first width. Therefore, some harmonic bands suppression can be implemented independently. Furthermore, the harmonic termination is independent and may not impact one or more fundamental components during matching a network. In addition, it may not take up more space and is sufficiently compact. Furthermore, sufficient wide harmonic response bandwidth can be provided.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure generally relate to a multi-channel Doherty power amplifier, a multi-antenna transmitter, and a method for turning on the multi-channel Doherty amplifier. The multi-channel Doherty power amplifier includes: multiple input ports and the same number of output ports corresponding to multiple channels, the multiple channels having the same characteristics for radio signal amplification and transmission; multiple private peaking amplifiers corresponding to the multiple channels; and a common Doherty core shared by the multiple private peaking amplifiers. The multiple private peaking amplifiers and the common Doherty core are configured to amplify identical multi-channel signal for multiple inputs and multiple outputs, thus higher saving ratio and better channel performance (output power, linearity, efficiency, power gain etc.) consistency would be greatly improved.
