  • Publication number: 20220102209
Abstract: Tungsten-containing metal films may be deposited in recessed features of semiconductor substrates by electrodeposition. The tungsten-containing metal film is electrodeposited under conditions so that the tunsten-containing metal film is free or substantially free of oxide. Conditions are optimized during electrodeposition for pH, tungsten concentration, and current density, among other parameters. The tungsten-containing metal film may include cobalt tungsten alloy, cobalt nickel tungsten alloy, or nickel tungsten alloy, where a tungsten content in the tungsten-containing metal film is between about 1-20 atomic %.

  • Publication number: 20200399403
Abstract: A wheat straw pulp, a preparation method therefor, an application thereof, and a method for adjusting the degree of substitution of CMC. The preparation method for the wheat straw pulp comprises the following steps: using water as a medium, performing ultrasonic crushing on wheat straw, performing solid-liquid separation, and collecting the solid to obtain wheat straw pulp, the temperature of the ultrasonic crushing being 25-100° C. In the preparation method, by using water as a medium, wheat straw is dissociated into wheat straw fibers in water in a mild temperature condition by means of ultrasonic crushing accompanied by H2O2. The wheat straw pulp can be used for preparing CMC. By adjusting different technological conditions to adjust the properties of the wheat straw pulp, CMC having different degrees of substitution can be prepared.

  • Patent number: 9994964
Abstract: A process to extract metal ions and potentially other hazardous species present in solution to levels low enough to make it suitable for use and/or to quantify the levels of these contaminants in the solution. The process involves the use of functionalized magnetic particles to bind with metal ions. The process occurs in a three-chambered cell and utilizes a magnet to agglomerate the magnetic particles bound with metal ions to an electrode, and by altering the pH of the solution within the cell using gases produced by a solid state electrolyzer or from the air, encourages the plating of the metal ions on the electrode and the pushing out of the metal-free solution out of the cell.

  • Publication number: 20180142103
Abstract: The present invention provides a water-based coating system that can be used to form durable, abrasion resistant, corrosion resistant, protective barriers on a wide range of substrates. The coating system is particularly effective for protecting metal-containing substrates, such as intermodal cargo containers, against corrosion. As an overview, the present invention provides water-based primer compositions suitable to form primer coats and topcoats on substrates. Desirably, the primer incorporates one or more chlorinated resins for excellent corrosion protection. These polymers not only provide excellent corrosion protection and but also show excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrate materials. The system also includes topcoat compositions enhance compatibility and adhesion to the primer and to provide enhanced application.

  • Patent number: 5714635
Abstract: The present invention is related to a method for preparation of cyclohexylamine by hydrogenating aniline at a temperature of 150.degree. to 250.degree. C. under a hydrogen pressure of 1 to 20 atm in the presence of a catalyst selected from a chromium- or thorium- modified cobalt boride, wherein the amount of said modified cobalt boride is at least 0.6 wt % based on the weight of aniline.Compared with the prior art which used a conventional hydrogenation catalyst such as ruthenium, palladium, Raney cobalt or Raney nickel, the method adopted by the present invention has the advantages in that it can be performed under a relatively lower hydrogen pressure without necessity of adding any coupling inhibitors and a much higher aniline conversion and a higher or comparable selectivity to cyclohexylamine can be obtained, thus resulting in greatly increased yield of cyclohexylamine.
