Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for transmitting files between electronic devices. The method includes: supplying a computer for connecting at least one electronic device to the computer and connecting the computer to a server; controlling the electronic device to log on or off the server when the electronic device is connected with the computer; obtaining an identifier (ID) of a target electronic device, an ID of the electronic device, and information of files what are selected in the electronic device by a user; generating a request including the ID of the target electronic device, the ID of the electronic device, and the information of files that the user selects; and transmitting the request to the target electronic device if the target electronic device is logged on the server.

Abstract: A method for setting account of an electronic device is provided. The method includes steps of: receiving emails; reading a received email; detecting whether parameters of the read email are consistent with a predetermined rules; setting the origination email account, which sends the read email, as an available email account of the electronic device if the parameters of the read email are consistent with the predetermined rules. The electronic device with email function is also provided.

Abstract: An electronic device with annotation function and a method thereof are provided. The method includes steps of: reading a to-be-displayed original photo; receiving touch operations on a touch screen; generating an annotation interface on the original photo in response to the touch operations, identifying an annotations corresponding to the touch operations, and displaying the annotations on the annotation interface; making the annotations overlaying on the original photo; displaying the overlaid photo; generating a parameter file which includes parameters corresponding to the annotations on the annotation interface; storing the generated parameter file; establishing a relationship between the original photo and the parameter file.

Abstract: An electronic device for automatically updating software and a method thereof are provided. The method includes steps of: reading an email; detecting whether the read mail should be used for updating the software of the electronic device, comprising: identifying whether the server ID number of the remote server, which sends the read email, matches one of the authorization numbers; detecting whether parameters of the read email are acceptable according to predetermined rules; detecting whether a file of an email content is a software file if the parameters of the read email are acceptable according to the predetermined rules; determining whether to update the software of the electronic device; acquiring the software file from the read email, storing the acquired software file in the storage unit, and running the acquired software file to update the software of the electronic device.

Abstract: An image adjusting method includes supplying an adjusting device connected with a display device; receiving an adjusting request including a source location, a target location and a revolution of the display device from the display device; obtaining the source location, the target location and the revolution of the display device from the adjusting request, and images from the source location; reducing the resolution of the obtained image according to the resolution of the display device when a revolution of the obtained image is not consistent with the revolution of the display device; and storing the adjusted desired image to the target location. The motion sensing unit is used for detecting a shaking motion imparted to the handheld device by a user. The storage unit stores a table defining a plurality of gaming results and shaking characteristics, each of which corresponds to one gaming result. The motion state determining unit determines the shaking characteristic of the shaking motion according to signals from the motion sensing unit. The processing unit outputs one of the plurality of gaming results according to the shaking characteristic determined by the motion state determining unit.

The vibration switch changes its state between an electrically open state and an electrically closed state during a shaking of the housing. The handheld device also includes a storage unit and a processor. The storage unit stores plurality of first type media files and a table. The first type media files are configured for reproducing sounds of tumbling dice in a dice shaker and the table is configured for defining a plurality of shaking levels, each of which corresponds to one of the first type media files. The processor, in response to signals from the vibration switch, is capable of monitoring the shaking level of the shaking of the housing, determining one of the first type media files corresponding to the shaking level according to the table, and playing the one of the first type media files until the shaking level changes.

The storage unit stores at least one group of media files associated with each other having same contents and different sampling rates and a table defining relationships between shaking levels of the shaking motion and the sampling rates of the at least one group of media files. The motion state determines one of the shaking levels of the media player according to signals from the motion sensing unit. The a media file determining unit, when a first media file of the at least one group of media files is playing, determines a second media file associated with the first media file having the sampling rate corresponding to the shaking level determined by the motion state determining unit according to the table.

Abstract: A method of managing medias, including steps of: receiving medias; detecting whether the media includes a time information including a start time, a finish time, and a display time interval; comparing the current date and time with the start time if the media includes the time information; displaying the media every the display time interval if the current date and time reaches or goes beyond the start time but does not reach the finish time. The time information can be added to the metadata of the media by a user before the media is sent to a receiver. The present invention further provides an electronic device capable of executing the above steps.

The method receiving an incoming call decoding the phone number of the incoming call so as to obtain a digit set from the phone number stored in the data storage system. Furthermore, the method includes obtaining corresponding audio clip of each note from an audio clip database and outputting the audio clips with the corresponding rhythm of the call number character of the incoming call through a music output apparatus.

The back part defines a front surface, a back surface, a first inner surface and a second inner surface, and includes shoulders extended face to face from boundaries of the first inner surface, the second inner surface and the back surface. The first inner surface and the second inner surface face to each other. The front part is attached to the front surface of the back part. The frame further includes resilient means disposed on the first surface. The main body is received in the frame, two opposite ends of the main body respectively contact with the resilient means and the second inner surface. The front part and the shoulders keep the main body in the frame. The electronic device can change the frame, thus to change appearance easily.
