Publication number: 20240126304Abstract: The present disclosure provides an automatic recharging method for an autonomous mobile device and a system. The method includes: when the autonomous mobile device moves toward a charging base, receiving, by at least two receivers disposed on the autonomous mobile device, directional guidance signals transmitted by at least three transmitters disposed on the charging base. The method includes determining output signals corresponding to each receiver based on predetermined movement rules and the guidance signals received by each receiver. The predetermined movement rules include output signals corresponding to each receiver when each receiver receives different guidance signals. The method includes performing a vector composition on the output signals corresponding to the receivers to obtain a vector sum, and controlling movement of the autonomous mobile device based on the vector sum.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Zhanglin LIU, Wulin TIAN

Publication number: 20230266765Abstract: A method for avoiding a predicament, the method being implemented in an autonomous mobile device. The method includes obtaining a map of a work zone, and moving the autonomous mobile device in the work zone. The method also includes obtaining sensed information acquired by at least one sensor of the autonomous mobile device, the sensed information being usable to obtain an environmental state of a first location of the autonomous mobile device when the sensed information is acquired, or an environmental state of a second location having a detecting distance from the first location of the autonomous mobile device when the sensed information is acquired. The method also includes determining, based on the sensed information, that the environmental state of the first location or the second location is a predicament; and determining the first location or the second location corresponding to the predicament as a dangerous location.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2023Publication date: August 24, 2023Inventors: Xin WU, Zhanglin LIU, Yiming ZHANG, Zhen CHEN

Patent number: 10120563Abstract: A container, such as a beverage container or a mug, may include electronics to run applications. In some examples, the container may include a display for visually displaying icons, menus, data, and other elements. In some examples, the container may include one or more sensors, such as touch sensitivity built into the display or a separate touch-sensitive panel, and/or a motion sensor. In some examples, the container may use the one or more sensors to receive input from a user to run interactive applications on the display. In some examples, the container may recognize particular forms of input, such as user swipes in specified directions and/or for specified durations on the touch-sensitive display, and/or motion of the container in specified directions to execute specified commands for the applications. The recognized input may form a user interface for the user.Type: GrantFiled: December 24, 2014Date of Patent: November 6, 2018Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Zhanglin Liu, Jiqiang Song, Chao Zhang, Ying Gao, Dennis Luan, Haibing Xie, Dongping Jony Liu, Randolph Wang, Bin Luo, Ho Wang

Patent number: 9801004Abstract: A device, method, and system for securely pairing mobile communication devices using device movement includes capturing a begin movement, capturing arbitrary pairing movement, and capturing an end movement. The mobile communication devices verify that they are within a secure range during the pairing process. The captured pairing movement may be normalized, depending on the relative orientation of the mobile communication devices. The captured pairing movement data of each mobile communication device is compared. If the captured pairing movement data matches, then the mobile communication devices are successfully paired.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2012Date of Patent: October 24, 2017Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Zhanglin Liu, Peng Guo, Gansha Wu

Publication number: 20140196066Abstract: We are facing an explosion in availability of online content, in particular accessing audio, video, and other data is considered to be driving the expansion of the Internet to accommodate access needs. However, time availability for accessing such data remains constrained and it is becoming more imperative that a technology be utilized to package the data for example, as a Collective Cut, to facilitate its consumption by pre-identifying portions of the data that are expected to be interesting to a consumer. Such packaging has many possibilities. For example, in the audio context, audio data could be presented to a consumer with specific portions of an audio presentation highlighted as the best portions to listen to if the consumer lacks sufficient time to listen to the entire presentation.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2010Publication date: July 10, 2014Inventors: Gansha Wu, Dan Zhang, Biao Chen, Yongjian Chen, Peng Guo, Zhanglin Liu, Zhigang Wang, Xin Zhou
