    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an LED boost converter and an LED backlight driver using the same. The LED boost converter comprises an inductive boost circuit used in different display modes for boosting an input voltage to a working voltage necessary for the operation of LED in a current display mode; a detecting circuit used in different display modes for selecting different detecting resistors for the different display modes so as to provide different detecting currents in the inductive boost circuit; and a controller used for providing a pulse width modulation signal so as to drive the inductive boost circuit, and for detecting whether a detecting voltage corresponding to the detecting current exceeds a reference voltage.

The method comprises: preprocessing the initial data input by user; collecting the on-line data, and calculating the optimized control command to meet the requirement of the transformer loss, top-oll temperature variation and noise; and executing the control actions by controlling a controllable switch and/or sending a control command to a VFD. Compared with the existing prior arts, the proposed solutions are much more intuitive and practical in the field of the cooling system.

    Abstract: This invention discloses using one or more color-encoded fringe patterns for optically, three-dimensionally measuring an object's shape. In one embodiment, a color-encoded fringe pattern comprising a plurality of fringes that are modulated in intensity is configured as follows. An individual fringe selected from the fringes comprises a colored line at a location on the fringe width. The colored line has a line width that is substantially narrower than the fringe width in order that the colored line has a substantially similar intensity over the line width. The individual fringe excluding the colored line has a fringe color that is substantially uniform over the individual fringe. The fringe color is substantially different from the line color. Fringe colors of all the fringes are substantially similar, thereby enabling a major portion of the color-encoded fringe pattern to provide a substantially-uniform illumination color for projection onto the object.

    Abstract: A method predicts a voltage collapse in a micro-grid connected to a power distribution network by measuring states at a point of common coupling of the micro-grid, and a connected bus of the power distribution network connected to the micro-grid through a connection link. Then, it is determined whether a reactive power generation limit of the micro-grid is reached based on the states, and if no, repeating the measuring, and otherwise determining parameters of the connection link using the measurements. A static voltage stability margin index is determined, and a voltage stability margin index is predicted using the static voltage stability margin index and a forecast of future load variations in the micro-grid. Then, it is determined whether the voltage stability margin index is smaller than a threshold, and if no, repeating the measuring, determining and predicting steps, and otherwise if yes, signaling a control action indicating the voltage collapse.

The ranging subsystem includes an optical coherence tomography (OCT) pickoff assembly that includes a first optical wedge and a second optical wedge separated from the first optical wedge. The OCT pickoff assembly is configured to divide an OCT source beam into a sample beam and a reference beam. The integrated optical subsystem is used to scan the treatment beam and the sample beam. The patient interface assembly couples the eye with the integrated optical subsystem so as to constrain the eye relative to the integrated optical subsystem.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a flyback quick start driving circuit, comprising: a voltage input unit, a transformer including a primary winding, a secondary winding, and an auxiliary winding, a driving unit for controlling the primary winding of the transformer, a voltage pull-up unit, and a feedback control unit. The voltage pull-up unit performs a charging process according to the direct-current from the voltage input unit, so as to enable the output voltage rise up to a starting voltage which is input the driving unit. The driving unit output a control signal to drive the primary winding. Thus, a voltage is created across the auxiliary winding. The feedback control unit gets the voltage of the auxiliary winding, and determines whether to stop the charging of the voltage pull-up unit or not according to the voltage of the auxiliary winding. The circuit can be started quickly and have lower loss of the power.
