Abstract: A polishing head that can be disassembled and comprises a polishing cloth 1, sponge 2 and plastic base 3. The polishing cloth 1 is tightly pressed on the plastic base 3 by a sponge 2. The plastic base 3 is divided into one part with male threads and the other part with female threads. The two parts coordinate with each other to achieve dismantling or locking of the cloth and sponge to the base. When the polishing cloth is damaged, the plastic base can be unscrewed to change the damaged polishing cloth, while the base can be reused so as to reduce waste.

Abstract: An acid and alkali resistant coating for an optical lens comprises: a silicon dioxide layer 1, an antireflection film layer 3, hardening layer 5 applied upon a lens blank 6. Optionally, nickel-chromium alloy layers 2 and 4 are added between the silicon dioxide layer 1 and antireflection film layer 3, between antireflection film layer 3 and hardening layer 5. A layer of nickel-chromium alloy may be added before vacuum coating the antireflection film layer. The layer of nickel-chromium alloy is added so that a hardening layer will be protected and to improve the connection or adhesion of the hardening layer and the antireflection film layer. In addition, a layer of nickel-chromium alloy may also added between the antireflection film layer and waterproof layer. The end product comprises protective antireflection or antiglare film improving acid and alkali resistance.

Abstract: An instrument to measure vector height comprises a base 8, linear guide rail 10, support and rotating plate 7, slide block 11 on guide rail with a measuring device vertically sliding in the sliding slot of linear guide rail 10 and riser 8 with a top fixed with bumper plate 12. There is a measuring seat 5 for polishing abrasive tools and a rotating clamp handle 6 on a support and rotating plate 7. By changing the corrective blocks on the measuring seat 5 for polishing abrasive tools, the instrument may measure the convexity of abrasive tools, but also the concave areas. Embodiments of the instrument have a wide range of 50 mm, high precision of 0.001 mm and accuracy of 0.006 mm, in a convenient to use form factor.

Abstract: A lower crucible component 3 comprises a lower planer surface 5 sometimes supporting an upper crucible component 1, the lower planner surface 5 having an inside section 9, outer vertical wall 11, upper crown 12, inner vertical wall 13 and upper planer surface 14 sometimes used to hold material for vaporization and attachment to ophthalmic lens such as eyeglasses. An electron gun is used to focus electrons to both the lower crucible 3 and the upper crucible component so as to evenly vaporize material held at a center section of the crucible assembly.
