    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for communication. A method comprises determining, at a first terminal device, a time window during which a second terminal device is to filter Sidelink Reference Signal Received Power (SL-RSRP) of sidelink transmissions received from the first terminal device; receiving, from the second terminal device, the filtered SL-RSRP during the time window; estimating a sidelink path loss based on the filtered SL-RSRP; and applying the sidelink path loss to power control of at least one subsequent sidelink transmission from the first terminal device to the second terminal device. In this way, the SL path loss can be estimated more accurately and reasonably, and thus the power control based on the the SL path loss can be performed more effectively.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for resource reservation for a retransmission in a sidelink channel. In a method for communication, a first device generates data to be transmitted to a second device via a sidelink channel. The first device determines whether a reservation criterion for reserving a retransmission resource for a retransmission of the data is satisfied. The retransmission resource is comprised in a resource pool for sidelink communications of the first device and further devices including the second device. In response to determining that the reservation criterion is satisfied, the first device transmits to the further devices reservation information indicating that the retransmission resource is reserved. With the embodiments of the present disclosure, better resource utilization of a resource pool for sidelink communications enabling resource reservation for feedback based retransmission is achieved.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for sidelink power control. In a method for communication, a first terminal device generates a measurement report by measuring a reference signal from a second terminal device via a sidelink channel. The first terminal device determines, based on a report criterion, whether to transmit the measurement report to the second terminal device. In response to determining that the measurement report is to be transmitted, the first terminal device transmits the measurement report to the second terminal device, such that the second terminal device determines a path loss of the sidelink channel based on the measurement report. With the embodiments of the present disclosure, more effective and efficient measurement reports can be obtained and a path loss in a sidelink channel can be determined more accurately for transmission power control in a sidelink communication.
