A specific embodiment of the method includes: acquiring a driving video of a driving process of a vehicle shot within a preset time period, the driving video including at least one frame of driving image; selecting, from the driving video, a driving image including a face image area of a driver; extracting a facial feature of the driver from the driving image including the face image area of the driver; determining identity information of the driver based on the facial feature of the driver; and outputting the identity information of the driver. This embodiment can quickly determine the identity information of the driver.
