  • Patent number: 10150685
Abstract: A water reclamation method on the basis of integrated use of magnetic resin adsorption and electrosorption is provided. It belongs to the water reclamation field, including the following steps: pump the biotreated effluent into a reactor that is filled with magnetic resin particles so that the chromaticity, organic pollutants, total nitrogen, total phosphorus contained in the wastewater can be effectively reduced; channel the fully reacted mixture into a precipitation tank for separation; part of the separated magnetic resin is pumped back into the reactor while the rest of the separated magnetic resin flows into a regeneration tank; the wastewater treated by magnetic resin adsorption then flows into an electrosorption unit for a desalting process; the remaining organic pollutants and inorganic pollutants are further removed.

  • Patent number: 9944545
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to methods for sludge reduction for pretreatment of nitrotoluene wastewater using electro-catalytic redox. The embodiments may include (a) adjusting a pH of the nitrotoluene wastewater to 1.5 to 2.0, standing for precipitation, draining sludge of the nitrotoluene wastewater at the bottom, obtaining supernatant of nitrotoluene wastewater, placing the supernatant through a cathode inlet into a cathode chamber of an electrochemical reactor; (b) performing electrochemical treatment, wherein reduction reaction of the supernatant of the nitrotoluene wastewater takes place at the cathode chamber, the nitrotoluene wastewater is placed into the anode chamber for oxidation reaction through the cathode outlet, the catholyte tank, and the anode inlet in sequence; (c) adjusting the nitrotoluene wastewater treated in step (b) via the anolyte tank, and then discharging the nitrotoluene wastewater into a biochemical system.

  • Publication number: 20170044031
Abstract: A method for harmless disposal and resource utilization of resin desorption liquid generated in the ion exchange process is provided. Resin desorption liquid is channeled into an electrolytic tank, which is arranged with an inlet and an outlet; the anode and the cathode within the electrolytic tank are separately connected to a stabilized power supply; both the direct and indirect oxidation process and occurred at the anode can decompose the organic pollutants in the desorption liquid; with necessary replenishment of fresh regeneration agent, the treated desorption liquid can exert excellent performance in regenerating saturated resin; the recycled use of resin desorption liquid is therefore realized, which consequently avoids unnecessary waste of regeneration agent and reduces the final yield of the desorption liquid. This method is characterized by being convenient in operation, without addition of extra reagents, without secondary pollution, and suitable for the desorption liquid with wide pH variations.
