The method includes: A transmitting device generates a plurality of transmission frames, where an ith frame in the plurality of transmission frames carries first information, the first information is used to indicate an amount of data of a service that is carried in each of t transmission frames, the t transmission frames include an (i?t)th frame to an (i?1)th frame in the plurality of transmission frames, i?t>0, and t?1; and sends the plurality of transmission frames to a receiving device. A transmission frame carries information about an amount of data of the service that is carried in a transmission frame before the transmission frame.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a bandwidth adjustment method and a related device, configured to adjust a bandwidth of a first payload subarea included in a transmission frame flexibly. The method of embodiments of this application includes the following steps: First, determine the first payload subarea and a second payload subarea from a payload area of the transmission frame; second, determine that a bandwidth of at least one service does not match a bandwidth of the first payload subarea; finally, adjust the bandwidth of the first payload subarea, where an adjusted bandwidth of the first payload subarea matches the bandwidth of the at least one service.

Abstract: The present invention provides an encryption and decryption method and device. In the method, a first optical transport network (OTN) transport device encrypts, according to an initial vector (IV), a key, and an encryption algorithm that are preset, data received by the first OTN transport device, and sends the IV and the encrypted data to a second OTN transport device; and the second OTN transport device receives a value of a high-order counter in the IV and the encrypted data that are sent by the first OTN transport device, where the encrypted data is data encrypted by using the IV, the preset key, and the encryption algorithm, and decrypts the encrypted data according to the preset key, the IV, and a decryption algorithm corresponding to the encryption algorithm.
