    Abstract: A method for extracting and isolating a lutein crystal from a vegetable oil resin containing a lutein diester, comprises: dissolving lipase into deionized water to form an enzyme solution; dissolving a lutein extract into an alcohol solvent containing the deionized water to form a uniform alcohol solution; adding the enzyme solution to the alcohol solution for performing hydrolysis, and stirring same to obtain a lutein solution; filtering and performing filtration isolation on the lutein solution to obtain a crystalline; re-dissolving the crystalline into a non-polar organic solvent, and using deionized water for washing a water-soluble impurity; recycling and cooling the organic solvent to obtain a recrystallization; and isolating and drying the recrystallization to obtain the lutein crystal. In this method, selectivity is strong, reaction time is short, no waste water is produced, process is environment-friendly and suitable for industrial production, and obtained lutein crystal is high in purity and yield.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an anti-tumor plant-medicament sustained-release tablet of elemene which comprises an elemene as an active component and is prepared by formulation of the elemene, a sustained-release agent, a bulking agent, a disintegrating agent, a binder and a lubricant, each component above-mentioned being in the following weight composition: the elemene 10%-15%, the sustained-release agent 3%-15%, the bulking agent 45%-70%, the disintegrating agent 3%-8%, the binder 1%-10%, and the lubricant 1%-8%. The sustained-release tablet of elemene provided in the invention has properties of expansion and adhesion, which in turn enables extending the retention time of the drug on upper and middle sections of the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, the tablet may be taken b.i.d.×3, in order to attain reduction in fluctuation of the plasma concentration, maintain effective plasma concentration for a longer period, and reduce the irritation on the gastrointestinal tract.

    Abstract: An oral microemulsion of elemene is disclosed. The microemulsion is made of elemene, surfactant, cosurfactant and water or buffer solutions with pH 5˜8. Said surfactant is selected form tweens, polyoxyethylene castor oils, polyethylene glycol stearates and mixture thereof. Said cosurfactant is selected from ethanol, 1,3-propanediol, glycerol and mixture thereof. The concentration of elemene in the microemulsion is 1˜5 g/100 ml. The ratio of elemene, surfactant and cosurfactant is 1˜5(weight):1˜40(weight):1˜40(volume), wherein the unit of weight/volume is g/ml.
