    Abstract: A continuous operation method is employed for the microwave high-temperature pyrolysis of a solid material containing an organic matter. The method includes the steps of mixing a solid material containing an organic matter with a liquid organic medium; transferring the obtained mixture to a microwave field; and in the microwave field, continuously contacting the mixture with a strong wave absorption material in an inert atmosphere or in vacuum. The strong wave absorption material continuously generates a high temperature under a microwave such that the solid material containing an organic matter and the liquid organic medium are continuously pyrolyzed to implement a continuous operation.

    Abstract: A pyrimidine-2,4-diamine compound and a preparation method and application thereof are provided. The pyrimidine-2,4-diamine compound of the present disclosure can be used in the research of biological or pharmacological phenomena and cathepsin C-involved signal pathway transduction and the evaluation of novel cathepsin C inhibitors. The pyrimidine-2,4-diamine compound is subjected to the screening of anti-cathepsin C activity in vitro and in vivo and proved to have strong inhibitory activity on cathepsin C. The pyrimidine-2,4-diamine compound is subjected to the screening of anti-NSP activity in vivo and proved to have strong inhibitory activity on NSP. The pyrimidine-2,4-diamine compound is subjected to the screening of anti-inflammatory activity in vivo and proved to have an effective therapeutic effect on inflammatory disease models. Meanwhile, the pyrimidine-2,4-diamine compound shows low toxicity and exhibits good application prospect.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for mitigating blast compression waves is disclosed. The apparatus has a housing having an open end, and a piston slidably received in the open end of the housing in a substantially airtight engagement therewith. The piston and the housing define an interior wherein a compressible substance is confined. When a blast wave impacts the impact face of the piston and drives the piston toward the base of the housing, a shock wave is induced in the compressible substance. The shock wave is reflected by the base of the enclosure and the interior surface of the piston to mitigate the impact of the blast wave.
