    Abstract: The present invention discloses a fiber optic connector comprises: a ferrule assembly; a spring seat provided behind the ferrule assembly; and a spring provided between the ferrule assembly and the spring seat. The spring seat has a receiving chamber having an insertion port through which a portion of the ferrule assembly is inserted into the receiving chamber; wherein the ferrule assembly is pre-assembled into the receiving chamber of the spring seat in a way that the ferrule assembly is held to be movably engaged with the spring seat.     Abstract: Provided is an environmental sensing method based on model evolution, and the method performs a channel estimation task under the current communication system to obtain channel response data, thereby realizing environmental sensing. Firstly, an interaction mechanism between electromagnetic waves and environmental objective is divided into reflection and transmission. Subsequently, a mathematical model of channel response and environmental objective is constructed, and an environmental sensing problem is modeled as a compressed sensing optimization problem. Lastly, the present disclosure initiates from a baseline model and enables iteration and evolution of the model by solving the objective to solve the compressed sensing optimization problem, ultimately achieving environmental sensing.

After the pre-assembled ferrule assembly and crimping seat are inserted into the housing, the crimping seat is snap-fitted in the housing, and the spring pushes the ferrule assembly, so that the ferrule assembly is capable of being moved against the spring relative to the crimping seat. Before inserted into a housing of the fiber optic connector, some components may be pre-assembled together to form an integral assembly having a size less than that of a housing of the fiber optic connector. Accordingly, the integral assembly may be smoothly pulled through a small long pipe.

The thermal shrinkable tube wraps a part of the fixing portion and a part of the protection layer and fixes the cable fixing portion and the 10 cable assembly together. All the members of the fiber cable terminal are pre-assembled into a sealed one-piece, the sealing performance between the cable fixing portion and the protecting layer is thus improved. The fiber cable terminal is mated with the through hole of the supporting body to improve the sealing performance between the fiber cable terminal and the supporting body.

A high precision fiber optic connector may be manufactured with a low precision ferrule.
