    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a channel listening method, a channel listening apparatus, a computer device and a storage medium. A User Equipment (UE) receives network configuration information transmitted by a base station, the network configuration information includes at least a duration of a random access contention resolution timer. The UE determines initial offset time of the random access contention resolution timer, and start to listen to a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) at a first time symbol after the initial offset time is reached, the duration of the random access contention resolution timer is a longest time for listening to the PDCCH. In this way, a problem of invalid listening caused by the fact that the UE prematurely starts the random access contention resolution timer due to an RTT that is too long can be avoided, thereby reducing a terminal loss.
