Abstract: A network device discovery method receives registration information from the network devices which are registered to the cloud device, and generates a management list for recording the registration information and a management status of each of the registered network devices. When a request of searching for specified network devices of a specified network manager from a specified client device is received, the discovery method retrieves specified network devices managed by the specified network manager from the management list. The discovery method further searches for target network devices which have the same public Internet Protocol (IP) addresses with the specified network devices, and presents one or more target network devices which have not been managed by any network manager to the specified client device for the specified network manager.

Abstract: A data storage method for a computing device is disclosed. The method includes: receiving, at a computing device, a file and a profile, wherein the profile includes a level of magnitude; storing, at the computing device in a first database, the file if the level of magnitude is greater than the lowest level; storing, at the computing device in a second database, the file if the level of magnitude is the highest level; and deleting, at the server, the file if the level of magnitude is the lowest.

Abstract: A method for adjusting an Internet Protocol (IP) camera reads a gravity acceleration value monitored by a monitoring unit in the IP camera. The method determines whether a gravity acceleration value exceeds a preset threshold value when the gravity acceleration value is different from a preset acceleration value. The method further determines whether the IP camera is abnormal when the gravity acceleration value exceeds the preset threshold value. If the IP camera is abnormal, an alarm unit of the IP camera outputs alarm signals according to a preset alarm mode.

Abstract: A monitored scene is monitored between an electronic device and a computing device. The electronic device generates monitoring data of the monitored scene and sends the monitoring data of the monitored scene to the computing device. The computing device notifies a user of a selected user ID to check the monitoring data.

Abstract: A method for expanding storage space using a network device is provided. The method sets a storage order of cloud storage space for expanding a local storage space in the network device. When target data is received from the network device, the method stores the target data into the local storage space when a size of an available storage space of the local storage space is more than or equal to a preset value. When the available storage space is less than the preset value, the method copies the earliest stored data of the local storage space into one or more specified cloud storage spaces according to the storage order, and deletes the copied data from the local storage space. The next earliest stored data is copied if the available storage space is still less than the preset value.
