Publication number: 20190118264Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for forming a three dimensional, hierarchical, porous metal structure with deterministically controlled 3D multiscale pore architectures. The method may involve providing a feedstock able to be applied in an additive manufacturing process, and using an additive manufacturing process to produce a three dimensional (3D) structure using the feedstock. The method may involve further processing the 3D structure through at least a de-alloying operation to form a metallic 3D structure having an engineered, digitally controlled macropore morphology with integrated nanoporosity.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2017Publication date: April 25, 2019Inventors: Zhen QI, Juergen BIENER, Wen CHEN, Eric DUOSS, Christopher SPADACCINI, Marcus A. Publication number: 20180337802Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to virtual private network (“VPN”) resiliency over multiple transports. According to one aspect, a customer premises equipment can select, from a transport preference database, a transport from a plurality of transports available to support a VPN tunnel. The transport selected is associated with a highest priority value of the plurality of transports in the transport preference database. The customer premises equipment can initiate setup of the VPN tunnel through the transport and can determine whether setup of the VPN tunnel was successful. If setup was not successful, the customer premises equipment can select a further transport from the plurality of transports available to support the VPN tunnel. Additional details are disclosed herein.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2017Publication date: November 22, 2018Applicant: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Lalitha Parameswaran, Zhen Qi Dong, Michael Satterlee, John Medamana

Patent number: 8725649Abstract: A system and method encrypt a license file associated with computer software using a private key. The license file includes one or more license keys, and each license key is associated with a feature of the computer software. The license file associated with the computer software is decrypted at runtime using a public key. A module determines whether a user is permitted to execute the computer software. The module is authenticated by one or more of a determination of whether a hash code included within the module matches a hash code generated by a user of the computer software at run time of the computer software, and an encryption of the module prior to run time of the computer software using the private key and a decryption of the module at run time of the computer software using the public key.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 2011Date of Patent: May 13, 2014Assignee: Raytheon CompanyInventor: Zhen-Qi Gan
