Abstract: One or more snapshots of data stored over a period of time are maintained in a hybrid storage device comprising a magnetic disk and a solid state disk, wherein a selected snapshot stores information that allows recovery of data that is stored in the hybrid storage device at a selected point in time of the period of time. The hybrid storage device receives an input/output (I/O) command from a computational device. A category of a plurality of categories to which the I/O command belongs is determined, wherein the plurality of categories comprise writing to an unused block, writing to a used block, reading from an unused block, and reading from a used block. In response to determining the category to which the I/O command belongs, the I/O command is handled by one of the magnetic disk and the solid state disk based on the determined category.

Abstract: A marker for the detection of liver cancer and application of the marker thereof. The application includes use of cytochrome p450 family 17 subfamily A polypeptide 1 (CYP17A1 protein) in the preparation of diagnostic reagents or kits for the detection of liver cancer kit. Studies have shown that CYP17A1 expression levels are higher in liver cancer tissues than in the adjacent healthy tissues, and the amount of CYP17A1 in sera of liver patients is significantly higher than that of healthy human population. Therefore, CYP17A1 can be used as a marker for the diagnosis of liver cancer (especially serological diagnosis).

A number of vent holes and a location hole are defined in the chassis. A number of teeth are formed on a sidewall bounding the location hole. A through slot is defined in the sliding plate. A toothed rack is formed on a sidewall bounding the through slot. The pivot member extends through the through slot and the location hole. The pivot member includes a toothed portion engaging with the toothed rack and the teeth, and a smooth neck. When the toothed portion disengages from the teeth, the neck is pivotably received in the location hole, the pivot member is pivoted to drive the sliding member to slide relative to the chassis by the toothed portion rolling on the toothed rack, thereby exposing or covering the vent holes.
