    Abstract: A mixer includes a weighting module configured to receive an input signal and to weight the input signal with a set of weighting factors, in order to generate a set of weighted signals; and a switching module configured to receive the set of weighted signals and at least a portion of 2N periodic control signals, wherein each of the periodic control signals has a period of 2N*Tvco which contains a pulse with a pulse width not greater than Tvco; wherein the pulses of the 2N periodic control signals do not overlap with each other; and whereby the switching module outputs the set of weighted signals cyclically, under the control of the received periodic control signals, to generate an output signal with a frequency shift of m/(2N*Tvco), where Tvco denotes a period of a VCO signal, N and m are integers, 0<m<N, compared with the input signal.

    Abstract: The invention provides an adaptive harmonic rejection (HR) receiving device, including a low noise amplification module; at least one HR mixer; at least one non-harmonic rejection (NHR) frequency mixer; and a control device. A received signal passes through the low noise amplification, and then passes through the at least one HR mixer or the at least one NHR mixer; the control device measures a receiving signal strength index (RSSI) after the received signal passes through the at least one HR mixer or the NHR mixer, and selects an NHR mixer or an appropriate HR mixer for the received signal according to a result of the measurement. The adaptive HR receiving device of the present invention is capable of adaptively judging whether to implement HR or determining which HR to implement according to features of the received signal, thereby improving the reception flexibility and reception performance.

    Abstract: A multi-band low noise amplifier (LNA) 105 includes an input stage having at least two inputs, a first input (103) coupled to a first input transistor for receiving signals in a first frequency band and a second input (104) coupled to a second input transistor for receiving signals in a second frequency band. The second frequency band spaced apart from the first frequency band. A bias network (218) having a band select input is coupled to the first and second input transistor, wherein a signal level applied to the band select input turns on one of the input transistors and turns off the other input transistors. The LNA (105) operates in the first frequency band when the first input transistor is on and the second frequency band when the second input transistor is on.
