    Abstract: Innovations in unified intra block copy (“BC”) and inter prediction modes are presented. In some example implementations, bitstream syntax, semantics of syntax elements and many coding/decoding processes for inter prediction mode are reused or slightly modified to enable intra BC prediction for blocks of a frame. For example, to provide intra BC prediction for a current block of a current picture, a motion compensation process applies a motion vector that indicates a displacement within the current picture, with the current picture being used as a reference picture for the motion compensation process. With this unification of syntax, semantics and coding/decoding processes, various coding/decoding tools designed for inter prediction mode, such as advanced motion vector prediction, merge mode and skip mode, can also be applied when intra BC prediction is used, which simplifies implementation of intra BC prediction.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for storage tier verification checks. A determination is made that a mount operation of an aggregate of a set of volumes stored within a multi-tier storage environment has completed. A first metafile and a second metafile are maintained to track information related to the storage of objects of a volume of the aggregate within a remote object store that is a tier of the multi-tier storage environment. A distributed verification is performed between the first metafile and the second metafile to identify an inconsistency. Accordingly, the first metafile and the second metafile are reconciled to address the inconsistency so that storage information within the first metafile and the second metafile are consistent.

When the foregoing solution is used, the cover is fastened to the shell, and the magnetic device is located in the accommodating cavity, so that the thermally conductive medium can encapsulate the magnetic device.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an approach to differentiating between different particle types in samples flowing through microfluidics chips. A sample may have an initial proportion of a first cell type to a second cell type. An illuminating light source may emit a coherent light at the sample, and light leaving the chip in a first direction may be detected using a first light detector, and light leaving the chip in a second direction (e.g., orthogonal to the first direction) may be detected using a second light detector. The detected light may be fluorescence. An orientational feature of a plurality of cells in the sample may be determined based on the light detected by the detectors. Based on the orientational features and the detected light, a biasing operation may be performed for each cell in the sample to obtain a modified proportion of cell types in the sample.

The method comprises: by taking an ?-carbonyl diazo compound and sodium arylsulfinate as reaction substrates, cheap silver nitrate as an optimal catalyst, 1,10-phenanthroline as a ligand, and potassium persulfate as an oxidant, carrying out coupling reaction in a mixed solvent of acetonitrile and water to obtain a ?-carbonyl sulfones compound. Compared with the prior art, the method has the following advantages: a wide range of reaction substrates, short reaction time, a relatively high reaction yield, a mild reaction condition, etc. In the present invention, non-toxic and harmless reagents are used as reaction raw materials, so that it has no harm to the environment and satisfies the requirements of contemporary green chemistry development. Post-reaction treatment is relatively simple, and is convenient for separation and purification. In addition, the reaction can achieve gram-scale synthesis, and lays a foundation for actual applications.
