When data is transmitted, a subframe that can be used for relay link transmission is configured, data transmission performed by using relay link complies with inherent constraints of a TDD frame structure in the prior art.

    Abstract: A method, a wireless communication system, and a group mobility controller (GMC) for processing group mobility are provided by the exemplary embodiments of the present invention. In the method, a fixed GMC paging group identifier (PG-ID) is assigned to the GMC when the GMC starts up a group mobility function; and a target network obtains group information of the GMC, and updates a PG-ID list of the target network with the group information of the GMC during a message interaction process when the GMC hands over from a serving network to the target network, and then utilizes the updated PG-ID list during a subsequent interaction process with a group node. The system includes a GMC, a serving network, and a target network. The signaling storm raised when numbers of terminals in an idle mode perform location update at the same time during the group mobility can be avoided according to the above technical solutions, thereby realizing the economy of air interface resources and signaling overheads.

    Abstract: A method, a communication system, and a network entity for group handover are provided. The method includes the following steps. A first tunnel connection is established between a mobile relay station (MRS) and a serving entity (SE). A target entity (TE) obtains group information about the group to be handed over, and the group information includes information about a first tunnel. According to the group information, the TE configures information about a second tunnel for the group, and the information about the second tunnel is required for group handover. The group nodes are handed over from the SE to the TE according to the information about the second tunnel. Thereby, the group information that needs to be transmitted in a handover process is reduced, and problems resulting from the number of handovers can be avoided.

    Abstract: A method for implementing a random access of a new access node and a system thereof are provided, which belong to a wireless communication field, and enable the new access node within the coverage of relay stations to implement the random access. In the application, when the new access node is located within the coverage of the relay stations, each of the relay stations notifies an access request sent from the new access node to a synchronization station via a report message, and the synchronization station compares the access request forwarded by each of the relay stations and the access request received by itself from the same new access node, selects a station with the best signal quality of the received access request, and implements the access of the new access node in accordance with the types of selected station and the synchronization station itself.

    Abstract: A method for implementing hybrid automatic retransmission is provided in a communication system. In the method, a terminal transmits a data block to a receiving side through a relay station; the relay station returns a receiving status of the relay station to the receiving side; and the transmitting side determines whether retransmission of the data block is needed according to the receiving status. A system for implementing hybrid automatic retransmission and a relay station are described, also. Accordingly, the system performance is enhanced, the transmission quality is improved. In addition, the relay station is transparent to the terminal such that no modification is required to be made to the existing terminal in the system having a relay station.

    Abstract: A downlink data transmitting method is applied to a multi-hop wireless relay communication system. The method includes the following steps. A network unit obtains an identifier of a next hop network unit corresponding to a connection identifier (CID) in a downlink medium access control protocol data unit (MPDU) header according to an existing corresponding relationship of the CID and a path ID, and sends the downlink MPDU to the next hop network unit by utilizing the obtained identifier of the next hop network unit, so that a data transmission of multi-hop wireless communication system is realized without changing a current user terminal and protocol structure of a core network. Meanwhile, a multi-hop wireless relay system, and a base station and relay stations applied to the system are described.
