Abstract: A method of enabling a language model trained in a first language to support a second language includes extending an existing vocabulary of the language model to include additional tokens for text in the second language. The method also includes initializing the additional tokens for text in the second language based on subtokens of tokens for text in the first language from the existing vocabulary. The method further includes training the language model using a mixed language dataset that includes a first language corpus and a second language corpus. In addition, the method includes performing instruction tuning using a dataset that includes (i) instruction and response pairs involving the first language and (ii) instruction and response pairs involving the second language.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a user-recognition system that may perform one or more verification methods upon identifying a previous image that matches a current image of a palm of a user. For instance, the user-recognition system may perform the verification method(s) as part of the recognition method (e.g., after recognizing a matching image), in response to an audit process, in response to a request to re-analyze the image data (e.g., because a user indicates that he or she was not associated with a particular purchase or shopping session), and/or the like.

Abstract: In various examples, multi-subject multi-camera tracking for high-density environments is provided. In some embodiments, an MTMC tracking system may associate previously initialized behavior states with currently generated behaviors clusters based on selecting between subject trajectory tracking and cluster matching algorithms. The system may receive image data comprising feeds from a plurality of optical images sensors. The system may generate behavior clusters and apply trajectory tracking to determine if the prior behavior states can be propagated based on a continuity of trajectory analysis. If behavior clusters cannot be associated based on trajectory tracking, a matching algorithm may be applied to the set of behavior clusters. For matched clusters, a matched a prior behavior state may be assigned to the cluster and propagated forward. If a cluster does not match with a prior behavior state, a new global ID and behavior state may be initialized based on representations forming the cluster.

Abstract: An external TPMS sensor for heavy-duty trucks comprises a helical antenna and a 1225 cell, and is installed outside a tire of a vehicle; and system power consumption is reduced by increasing the communication rate of the TPMS sensor, and/or decreasing the sampling period, and/or decreasing the number of data frames transmitted every time, and/or decreasing RF output power, and/or disposing an LNA circuit at an input terminal of a corresponding receiver antenna. The requirement of the TPMS sensor for a long service life is met by reducing system power consumption; the helical antenna, the matching network, and the 5 dBm chip for outputting power are used to realize miniaturization of the TPMS sensor; and the 1225 cell is used, which, compared with traditional TPMS sensors, allows the diameter of the TPMS sensor to be reduced by about 8 mm and the weight of the TPMS sensor to be reduced by over ?, such that miniaturization of the TPMS sensor is further realized.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a proton-conducting fuel cell (PCFC) includes assembling a green anode-electrolyte half-cell. The green anode-electrolyte half-cell includes an electrolyte layer, an anode functional layer adjacent the electrolyte layer, an anode substrate layer adjacent the electrolyte layer, and a stress balancing layer adjacent the anode substrate layer. The method further includes sintering the green anode-electrolyte half-cell using solid state reaction sintering to form an anode-electrolyte half-cell.

Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for identifying users that are enrolled for use of a user-recognition system and updating identification data of these users over time. To enroll in the user-recognition system, the user may initially scan his or her palm. The resulting image data may later be used when the user requests to be identified by the system by again scanning his or her palm. However, because the characteristics of user palms may change over the time, the user-recognition system may periodically perform processes for updating the identification data stored in association with the user in order to maintain or increase an accuracy of the user-recognition system.

The method includes logging into a first user account of a social application and pulling, from the remote server, information associated with a social group, which includes the first user account and multiple user accounts that are direct contacts of the first user account including a second user account. First multi-media information is by the second user account and is selected. A third user account is not a direct contact of the first user account. Second multi-media information by the third user account is selected when it is interacted by the second user account and satisfies preset policies of the remote server. The input method includes acquiring text information at an input cursor position, where the text information includes above text information located before the input cursor and/or below text information located after the input cursor; extracting keywords from the text information; searching through associative candidate lexicons of the keywords to obtain an enter-on-screen candidate word queue at the input cursor position; outputting the enter-on-screen candidate word queue. By acquiring the text information at the input cursor position and determining the enter-on-screen candidate word queue based on the keywords in the text information, embodiments of the present disclosure solve the issue in existing techniques that after the input cursor changes it position, no enter-on-screen candidate word may be provided by association because no reliable enter-on-screen entry is obtained.

If the threshold variance exists, remedial actions are triggered. In some instances, runtime configuration files are scanned for blacklist configuration settings. When blacklist configuration settings are found, remedial actions can also be triggered. In some instances, configuration files are scrubbed by omitting detected blacklist items from the configuration files. In some instances, changes are only made to configuration files when they match changes on an approved change list and are absent from an open incident list.
