  • Patent number: 10281841
Abstract: A toner cartridge includes a cylinder having an opening and accommodating carbon powder, a transmission member having a pipe portion sleeved onto the cylinder, an end portion and at least one outlet communicating with the opening, a powder guiding member having a main body disposed at the end portion and blades extended from the main body radially, a powder storing cover having a cover body sleeved onto the pipe portion, a powder exiting passage located under the powder guiding member and a powder exit provided on the bottom side of the cover body and communicating with the powder exiting passage, and a spring. As a result, when the blades stir the spring, the carbon powder accumulating in the powder exiting passage can be vibrated, so the carbon powder remaining near the powder exit can be effectively reduced and the powder exit can be prevented from being blocked.

  • Publication number: 20180181024
Abstract: A toner cartridge, which is adapted to be removably disposed in an electronic imaging device having a driving gear and at least one supporting member, includes an accommodating part, a gear ring, at least one rolling path portion, and a sensing protrusion. The accommodating part has an opening. The gear ring is provided on the periphery of the accommodating part for being engaged with the driving gear. The rolling path portion is provided on the periphery of the accommodating part and arc-shaped for being abutted on the supporting member in a point-contact manner. The sensing protrusion is provided on the periphery of the accommodating part and located between two ends of the rolling path portion. As a result, the toner cartridge can be positioned positively and prevented from deflection during rotation.

As a result, the carbon powder can leave the cylinder through the opening, enter the powder storing cover through the outlet, and be driven by the rotation of each blade of the powder guiding member to move to the powder exit, thereby discharged for usage in an electronic imaging device. The toner cartridge is simple in structure, convenient and fast in assembly, and less possibly has false actions.

  • Publication number: 20170168419
Abstract: A toner cartridge includes a cylinder, a transmission member fixedly sleeved onto the cylinder, and a covering member sleeved onto the transmission member. The transmission member has a base pipe portion, a gear ring provided on the periphery of the base pipe portion and engaged with a driving gear of an electronic imaging device, and a protruded portion provided on the periphery of the base pipe portion. The peripheries of the protruded portion and the base pipe portion form a circumferential surface, so that a sensor in the electronic imaging device can sense positional variation of the circumferential surface during rotation of the transmission member. The sensor senses the pass of the protruded portion once in every revolution of the rotation of the transmission member. Therefore, the residual powder in the toner cartridge, which should be replaced according to an alarm of the electronic imaging device, is reduced.
