Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for treating a patient having cancer, such as glioblastoma. The method may comprise obtaining a biological sample from the patient, and detecting a mutation in a microtubule-related gene is present in the biological sample. The method further comprises administering an effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a tubulin polymerization inhibitor, such as an auristatin, to the patient.
