Abstract: A network data packet filtering method includes receiving a network data packet, obtaining a communication 5-tuple in the network data packet through parsing, determining, by determining that the communication 5-tuple in the network data packet matches at least one of one or more communication 5-tuple entries, that the network data packet is a broadcast data packet to be discarded, and discarding the broadcast data packet.

Abstract: This application is applicable to the field of communications technologies, and provides an embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) card identification method and a terminal device method. The method includes: after completing an initialization process, driving an eSIM card to be powered on; querying whether an activated profile exists in the eSIM card; and when a query result is that no activated profile exists in the eSIM card, powering off the eSIM card. When the eSIM card is not activated or no activated profile exists in the eSIM card, it indicates that a user does not need to use a related function or service of the eSIM card. In this case, the eSIM card is powered off. When the eSIM card is not activated, it means that no profile exists in the eSIM card.

Abstract: A cell measurement method. According to the method, a terminal device determines that a first cell as a camped cell of the terminal device; and then determines that the terminal device is in a target environment. The terminal device further obtains a signal strength of the first cell and performs a measurement on a second cell when the signal strength of the first cell is less than a first threshold and greater than a second threshold. The second cell determined by the terminal device based on the target environment. The terminal device switches the camped cell of the terminal device from the first cell to the second cell when a measurement result of the second cell meets a handover condition.

Abstract: This application provides a terminal device and a wireless communications method. When the terminal device is in a dual connectivity network including an LTE link and an NR link, the terminal device determines, based on a service transmission rate related to an actual transmission rate, whether to disconnect the NR link. If the service transmission rate is relatively low, the terminal device disconnects the NR link. If the service transmission rate is relatively high, the terminal device does not disconnect a first link, and uses both the NR link and the LTE link for communication. In this way, power consumption of the terminal device can be effectively reduced without affecting the user experience on transmission rate, the user experience on power consumption is improved, and the user experiences on transmission rate and power consumption are balanced to some extent.
