Existing migration methods are limited to the migration of VM memory and controller states, where network entities are migrated individually. Embodiments of this disclosure include systems and methods for the stateful live migration of a multi-layer network, while maintaining live state convergence and consistency, and preventing network connection losses, packet disordering and packet drops.

If any portion of the requested data in the local data storage fails to meet the query constraint value, then the child node from which the data came from is tasked with recursively executing the global query.

    Abstract: There is provided methods and apparatuses for training multiple reinforcement learning agents without requiring inter-agent or agent-server communication in multi-agent reinforcement learning applications where fairness between the agents is desired. According to embodiments, fairness between multiple deep reinforcement learning agents in the same environment can be achieved while not requiring inter-agent communication. The method includes creating episodes where two or more RL agents are deployed in a shared environment, each RL agent behaving independently according to its own policy without inter-agent communication. The method further includes storing the RL agent's experiences in a shared experience replay buffer that exists across multiple training episodes, the shared experience replay buffer being shared between the RL agents.

    Abstract: Systems and systems for hybrid centralized distributive scheduling and conflict resolution of multiple scheduler instances that share physical resources in a cloud computing system. The cloud computing system includes a plurality of scheduler instances, a global resource manager (GRM) for high-level resource management and conflict resolution for the scheduler instances, and a plurality of physical hosts. Each physical host has a respective local resource manager (LRM). The scheduler instances are responsible for initially processing of scheduling and resource allocation for resource requests, and proposing candidate physical hosts (and respective resource allocation) for the resource requests to the GRM. The GRM is responsible for conflict resolution through its general conflict resolvers of filtering, sorting and counting. The GRM decides which physical hosts among the candidate physical hosts will run the runtime instances of the resource requests after resolving conflicts among the scheduler instances.
