In the present method and system, even the handover from PS network to CS network occurs, the service experience of the calling user on the customized alerting tone session will not change, thus the normal call request is not affected and there is no need to modify the exiting IMS architecture.

The invention further discloses a system for realizing single radio voice call continuity. The method and system for realizing enhancement of single radio voice call continuity provided by the disclosure can effectively reduce the overlong interruption time in the prior art, and greatly improve the user experience.

    Abstract: A method for implementing local call local switch (LCLS) is provided in the present invention, and the method includes that: a mobile switching center (MSC) at a calling side receives a call establishment request of a calling user, and a MSC at a calling side transmits the local reference to a base station system (BSS) at the calling side and a MSC at the called side; the MSC at the called side transmits the received local reference to the BSS at the called side; and a BSS judges whether the local switch can be triggered according to the received local reference, and executes the local switch when determining that the local switch can be triggered. The present invention also provides a system for implementing LCLS. With the method and system provided by the present invention, the problem of unsuccessful local switch resulted by the BSS connecting multiple MSCs is solved.

After a UE-1 establishes an IMS session with a remote leg through a PS network, wherein in the IMS session, signaling is anchored to an ICP and media is anchored to an AGW controlled by the ICP, the method is realized as follows: sending a handover request by a control net element of the PS network to an eMSC to request a handover of the IMS session to a CS network access mode; after receiving the handover request, preparing a media link resource by the eMSC for the UE-1 to communicate with the eMSC and sending a call request to the ICP; and controlling the AGW to correlate a media link established by the call request with a remote leg media link of the IMS session by the ICP. The method can effectively solve the problem existing in the prior art that the duration of interruption is too long, and improve user experience.

The present invention is applicable to an IMS centralized service and may effectively reduce the number of steps and the time required after response for media resource re-negotiation.

With the present invention, it can be implemented that during a session termination process, if one party disconnects the session, the other party can receive multimedia information sent to it by the network, which updates the experience of the user.
