The method includes: receiving an air pressure value detected by an air pressure sensor, wherein the air pressure sensor is located in an air path between a blower and a dust filtering apparatus of the dust collection equipment; determining whether an abnormal event occurs in an air duct of the dust collection equipment according to the air pressure value detected in real time; and performing corresponding handling according to the type of the abnormal event, when it is determined that the abnormal event occurs.
