One method of a Tx/Rx UE comprises reserving resources for one or more sidelink (SL) data transmissions and resources for decoding result feedbacks corresponding to the one or more SL data transmissions; transmitting sidelink control information (SCI) to a second apparatus, which indicates the resources for the SL data transmissions; and receiving at least one of the decoding result feedback and a pre-emption indicator. Another method of a Tx/Rx UE comprises receiving SCI, which indicates resources for the SL data transmissions, from a first apparatus; and transmitting at least one of the decoding result feedback and a pre-emption indicator.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to downlink/uplink data transmission in a wireless communication system. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a method for downlink data transmission in a wireless communication system which comprises transmitting an indication for a new-type reference signal to a user equipment, wherein the new-type reference signal has an identical location in frequency domain to a legacy reference signal; and transmitting the new-type reference signal and the legacy reference signal to the user equipment for using in channel estimation. In a case of more than one antenna port, the new-type reference signal may be designed to have a different location in time domain from a legacy reference signal to avoid interference to other antenna ports.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to a method and an apparatus for resource alignment on sidelink (SL). According to an embodiment of the present application, a method can include: receiving resource partition information associated with at least one resource partition of a resource pool; selecting at least one resource pattern from a set of resource patterns associated with one resource partition of the at least one resource partition according to the received resource partition information; and transmitting an indication to indicate the selected at least one resource pattern. Embodiments of the present application can save power for UEs which perform SL communication in a power saving mode as well as decrease resource collision between different SL communications.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to a method and apparatus for beam failure detection and recovery in sidelink. An exemplary method includes: obtaining configuration information for a beam failure recovery (BFR) procedure on sidelink, wherein the configuration information indicates a periodic window; performing a reception of at least one transmission of a beam failure detection reference signal (BFD-RS) on the sidelink within the periodic window according to the configuration information. Embodiments of the present application can efficiently reduce delay as well as signalling overhead for BFR in sidelink.
